when I play multiplayer on the halo 3 odst multiplayer disk, I can see that I got a lower fps (probably 15-25 fps) than in singleplayer. Is it just me or have anyone else noticed this?

uhhh...mine doesn't drop that low. I think something is wrong with your xbox. oh and the fps does drop when you're in multiplayer because of the connections and stuff. but it should still be above 25
