Im going to be a stooge, nice stuff but; in my humble opinion you should find the groove of the song a bit more, i think it lacks that explosive passion that page put into it. Forget timing and just satisfy your heart :)
sorry buddy!! but its almost impossible to play this with a pick... u HAVE to learn how to pick with ur fingers, preferably all fingers, something I STILL avoid...
i have started playing guitar just 1 year ago without teacher, do you thing i`am in conditions to learn bron-yr-aur?? or is for intermedi-advanced only? how much time did you spend to learn it?
even i haven't learnt from anybody, its on a different tuning, so its all abt how comfortable you would be playing it i guess... i'm not an expert at this... i picked it up in an hour or two...
I started playing (almost) two months ago and I plan to tackle it by next weekend or something.
Anyway - in my time of playing, I've managed to play "Black mountain side" fairly well, that it pleases my ears. This song looks easy to play, if played on the tuning it is supposed to be played on - to tell you the truth, the only reason I haven't yet tried it is because I'm afraid I'll break the strings (again!) when tuning ;D
anyway - it's up to you, I say. If you like it that much, go for it.
well, my ear isn't good enough yet (nor is my playing) to be able to say whether you had it down absolutely right or not - but it sounded great nevertheless!

the tuning is CACGCE, pretty easy it seems, but sounds gr8 if u get it absolutely right which i don't think i have...
