  • Pioneer and Reloop. LOL

  • a question on mixers...

im looking at the rmp3 and want a good mixer for it that has alot of effects. another question, can u add your own effects?

  • your sound is off

  • eheheheh

  • audios off :/

  • can you say me how to connect a mixer to the pc ?

  • This guy here...

  • I have the RPM-2. Previously, I played the pioneers CDJ-1000MK2, and I must say of the players are technically comparable;) Greetings from Polish;)

  • The sound isn't synchronized with the video :(

Nevertheless it's a nice overview. Thx!

  • who want to buy cd player reloop rcd 3000s ? priv

  • is it possible to conect the reloop rmp to the computer (like a midi Controler)?

when yes , it is a usb kable in the box

  • These are nice decks, but be good at using your ear as the auto bpm counters float like a b*tch. There almost a token gesture imo. The efx, even after modulating the output via ratio button & jog wheel cause a surge in overall master output as well.

  • yea where can you buy one of these if you are in the U.S

  • can you have any combination of mixers and cdjs/turntables?????

  • @harryy179

    yes ofcourse

  • @jasbroek sounds a bit noobish

    cheers mate

  • the bass line sounds like donna summer i feel love

  • about how much does this cd player cost?

  • @danmos29 around £315.

  • Where can i buy Reloop in US?

  • I would buy the RMP-2 because they were released a few years ago and work well. So their quality is proved.

  • I own 2 of them. Nothing ever happend with them. Solid made, good somponents. In my opinion its a copy of Denons DN-S1200 (keys) and Pioneer CDJ-800 (Jog Wheel). But who cares as long as they r working good :)

  • hey J!

Im gonna buy new , more advanced cdjs, but I dont know which 1 to buy ;American audio radius 1000 ( 430 £) or reloop rmp 2 ( 520£ )

    help please!

  • 430 pounds?

i got mine for 379 euros.

im very happy with the radius, if your new into the game, radius will do you great.

i suggest trying out the players in a shop, then buying them off this german website, its like the biggest retailer in europe, and theyre hella cheap.

  • @wattapassa

yeah I have it now , ITS AWESOME!:D

  • yeah, theyre good, arent they! im very glad with them, even if theyre all plastic. the effects are decent, the looping programmes work,... its what it says on the tin, for 400 bucks

  • i got serato instead of upgrading my cd players. what a mistake! who wants to trade their cd players for a serato?

  • do you want cd player or turntables?

  • sry . but your not going to get far with 400€

If you want to buy cd players that turn you will have to go for denons cd players and you wont even get one for 400€ and 2 mixers ? why :D?

  • can u the loops like half a beat, a quarter beat and so on to make build ups?

  • Just a question, based on peoples experience what should i go for as i am wanting to upgrade my CDJ's.

Out of these 3, which is the best?

    The Gemini CDJ-600

    American Audio's radius 100

    or The Reloop RMP-2

    ?

    Thanks in advance! :)

  • reloop.

    just not gemini.

  • i have got the reloops and for the money i have to say they are brilliant. 1 big plus is that when i dj in clubs on the 1000's i dont feel dissapointed when i get back home to my reloops. they really are good for the money. hope this helps :)

  • I bought my two about 4-5 months ago, one was £295 then a month later they went up to £335.

  • did you get yours from hard to find because if so yea they put there prices up

i got 2 stanton str8150 and gemini cs-02 5 channel mixer all for under 900 its now 1250

  • Hey wassup im considering buying one of these i heard that its also can be a midi controler can u help me with that and do u know were i can read reviews on this product cause iv never herd of reloop but they seem cool ps and a price in us ...if that no to much lol

  • im a new dj i have question about wich cd player is best The numark axis9 or reloop rmp-2

  • reloop by far

  • Comment removed

  • Does this guy allow us to load the music directly from a PC? Or is it limited to CD's only.

  • CDs only, but I was messing about with my cd's and stored 119 tracks (all be it not highest quality), the player loaded every track

  • Is there any resistance on platter, like the CDJ 800...?

  • I love that one, really nice price

  • What a load of CRAP! *lol*

i'm using both Denon and Pioneer, so i'm no dedicated FANBOY, both brands have their advantages and weaknesses just like everything else. However, you'll find pioneer at the majority of clubs around the world, and thats not just a fluke, they're really good, CDJ 800 mk2 and CDJ 1000 mk3.But they all have problems once and a while. Just like DNS 3500 / DN 6000 and so forth.

If ya use your gear long time enough it will dooze off and break when you least expect it.

  • i using reloop for 1 year now every day and everything does same job at same place for same time as it does 1 year ago...don't be smart and talk stupidity if you didn't try...reloop is quality brand as i see, soon i will buy reloop turntables

  • 1 year isnt long enough, reply to this message in 5 years time then we'll see where we are

  • Yaaaaaah , pioneer is the best with denon blablbla

sure, but everybody cant pay 1200$/euros only for a cd player

  • I have one of these, and I like it.

You can set the delay of the scratch. I thought it was "not responsive" and stuff, but after I put the delay of it to 0ms, it's the same as a Pioneer CDJ (I have a CDJ 800 as well).

    Great product for it's money

  • Ahh damnit! I see new UK CD Pool discs... I wish I could get thoes here.

Cool Cerone sample & looks to be a nice piece of kit :)

  • Theire even kinda hard to get from the Uk over to germany :(

Brian, is there any "house museum" in Chicago ?

    Cheers,

    F

  • hmm not that I know of. That would be a fun place to visit. The closest you'll get to a House Museum would probably be Grapamphoe Records on Clark St (although, it's not the same location that was big during the heyday of House in Chicago)

I'll just have to stock up on CD Pool when I go to BPM I guess

  • I just need to go to Chicago one day, love house and all its musical sisters and brothers, made me DJ !

What happened to the Warehouse ? And Paradise Garage ?

Will u be at the Musikmesse 2009 in Frankfurt germany, Brian ? Would be great to meet you dude. I thought about booking a room, with some kit and PA. A little afterparty for all guys who know DJ Tutor and wanna party a little bit with J and me (I would do my birthdayparty there) ... would be so cool if that will happen dude !!! Cheers

  • Well, in Chicago, the building the Warehouse was in is still there. Paradise Garage was in NYC. Not sure if that building is still there or not. The building "The Loft" was in is still there in NYC as well.

We'll have to see about Frankfurt. You never know :)

  • i have used numark and denon in the past. now i use pioneer! i have never looked back.

  • It annoys me to hear yet again that every thing that isnt pioneer is S**** i think the quote was. immmmmm This looks like a very usable piece of kit, perhaps it doesnt go with your nike trainers and reebok sweat but does the name matter. if you looked in the major radio studios in the uk would the all be pioneer prob not, if you looked at all the club or mobile djs have they mostly got pioneer No.... I have said it loads of times and mostly i get agreement.......please no gear snobs..

  • Couldn't agree more jason. Can't remember how many time ive gone on to a product review on youtube, or forums to find them slagging gear off just because its not a PIONEER, TECHNICS or another top brand name. I don't buy things just because of its brand name, i buy things because im impressed with it, it meets my own requirements and specifications etc. Please stop fronting and use your head!

  • Great vid john!Thx!!

  • But do these read cd-r's?

  • yes, the will also play cd's burned through I-Tunes, which I use as you can keep the ID3 tags so you can see the name of the track on the player

  • Cool!!!!

  • isnt the scratching response kinda slow?

  • could be the way youtube video files are compressed, i watched loads of turntablism videos on youtube many seem very slow compared to real life.

  • The common miss-judgement about these players is that the scratching isn't too good. However, you can change the response time by pressing hold, then time and reducing to 0, this makes it imediate.

    I hope this helps.

Also, people don't realise, but you can store cue points by setting them with the memory button, then press and hold memory. When you swith the player back on all you do is press memory and it will show 'recall' insert CD and there you go.

  • Very nice budget cdj from reloop, im looking for a cheap cdj just to learn cdj turntablism. Whats the scratch feature like johnathan? Would be good to see a video of you thrashing it, i ain't looking for no Qbert routine johnathan, just a demo of its handling and response during a thrashing.

  • I think that guy is a very good CD-Player. I've got also two of thees and i realy enjoy it to work with. The loading time is very quick. Even if you use a MP3 CD with hundreds of Tracks its very short.

By the way. You always do very good Movies. I like them an i had learn a lot of tricks in the last month.

    benAllegro from Germany

  • @benAllegro hi have you ever had any probles with them? i might get some but i dont want to make another mistake

  • nice, i still think the cdj 1000's are better though.

  • indeed, you can't beat pioneer..but they are more expensive :)

  • you definitely can beat pioneer. theyre 100% evidence that market advertisement flooding pays off. cheaply made, over priced lumps of shite.

  • Love my tascam cdj and vestax tt controller.

  • I don't know, the CDJ400's I have are very impressive. They are my first piece of Pioneer DJ kit and I dig 'em!

  • they serve their purpose accordingly, but take your 400 to pieces and look at the mechanism that the platter is attached to, must of cost all of about 5p, worst construction ever. technics 1210s they are not! theyre 'indutry standard' for all the wrong reasons, relentless advertising works.

  • Here's the question, though. Why is it that if the Pioneer's are made so cheaply, no company can seem to make a superior deck? If they were all that bad, then it would be easy to beat them. See what I mean?

  • depends on what you consider to be superior, most dj's i know and highly respect say they MUCH prefer the denon equivelants yet will own a pioneer 800 or 1000 as well due to all clubs using them. but its not like all clubs using 1210's that're justified, its just sheer hardcore promotion and market cornering that have given them that position in club land.

  • Well I dont have much comparisons to my CDJ 400, but in 5 months I could not find anything that was bad about them.

The only thing which could be better is an USB 2.0 Port, instead of the 1.1 one

But if you imagine, before 20 years or something, people used to mix with belt driven dodgy turntables, which weighted about 1 ton and were propably made out of norwegian wood, some uranium 35 and a Mc Guyver bubble gum :)

Im quiete glad what modern day technic can bring to the table.

    Cheers,

    Fabian

  • I'll admit to feeling a similar way to you before I got my CDJ400 decks.

  • my cdj800 mk2's load cd's in 4.5 secs :D

  • my 1000s mk3 do it in about a second

  • ooooooooooooh welll loooook at youuuuuuu. lol.

  • :P

i hava crap mixer if its any consolation lol

  • ive been looking on those for a while now and i really want to have two ot these but they are too expensive for me in EU..but i dont think they have authorised sellers in USA..anyway they are really good decks.

  • hmmm is it just youtube, or was that baby scratch motion really laggy on this cd player?

  • to me it looks like a johnattan`s new camera`s issue.

  • so whats so great about these

    is it the price?

is the vinyl mode better in this then the cdj 800mk2

  • The jog wheel looks rather delayed

  • whats the price on this thing then J?

    Cheers

  • around the £250 mark, probably less if you shop around tho.
