  • Wow, sir. This tutorial was amazing, keep up the good work!

  • Great tutorial. However, it is unnecessary to use cmd+C (Mac) or ctrl+C (PC) in duplicating timeline layers. Click the layer(s) and cmd+D (Mac) or ctrl+D (PC) is all that you'd need to do.

  • oh jesus, 13 mins tutorial for zoom in. Lol, gj liked

  • Nice!! Tutorial! Im assuming that after this shot. You then film a close-up of the actor in the same position. And you stitch the 1st shot and second shot together.

  • is this Adobe After Effects cs5??

  • FCP7 who still uses that shyt?

  • @ultraret in March 2011, lots of people.

  • FOR THE LOVE OF GOD..FOR ONCE, PEOPLE SHOULD APPRECIATE A JOB WELL DONE. THIS IS FREE TUTORIAL AND YOU ASS HOLES DIDN'T PAY HIM ANY DIME TO DO WHAT HE IS DOING.

  • @Boobswanker dont know waht this is about, but YouTube pays him.

  • @darealshazz LMAO Idiot. its one cent per 1000 views...

  • @ShadowWorldSniper He still makes money, + you probably don't know how YouTube partnership works.

  • @darealshazz I work at Google, so, please, I have 3 accounts partnered and I make more money that he can make over a lifetime, my projects are in Digital Domain. My YouTube channel name is on digital domain's site. Do your research before you post shit, You virgin ass.

  • @ShadowWorldSniper wow you really make google look like a professional company with responsible employees. Excuse me while I sell all my google stock.

  • Dude have you ever been in focus?:P

  • @Arcomitry The bullet is where you literally add a 3d bullet to the frame, this is more or less the visual effect without the bullet.

  • Why are your videos distorted? for a VFX guy your videos are unwatchable most part

  • @petonii It happens to me too on my Mac when I don't export in the highest quality possible in Screenflow...

  • awesome!!!

  • EXCELLENT. Wish I could do that, but I've given up on A.E. - learning curve is just too steep/long for me, and I don't have a great frame of mind for such a thing, not having grown up with computers (I'm 61). I admire your work tremendously, and your skills are - to me - remarkable. And you're one hell of a terrific teacher! Great tutorials!

  • Love your tuts. But one thing.

Instead of Copyin and Pastin you can press cmd+D Which duplicates it ;)

  • thanks for this video it was useful for me.

  • @FinalCutKing Why is this marked as spam? LOL

  • AMAZING tutorial, but please lose the graphic and color freak outs!

  • Love the way you are presenting your tutorials. Showing the finished result first so u can just amount of time it will take to explain. I guess we both took a cue from Andrew Kramer. Keep up the great work.

  • wow this is like the 10th video i spent 20mins on trying to mimic the videos exactly, an everytime they do a little quick shortcut button on things an dont say how they did it an it fucks it up for me,,,, at 3:30 you say to click the clone stamp,, i click it, then i try to click on the wall an then the dancer ( my gf walking) an wow it doesnt do anything, what the hell!?!?!

  • @thevfxbro is there anyway i could improve that?

  • my after effects (cs5 mac) only renders up to 6.5 seconds like when you hit that play button with the two lines( idk what anything in AE is called, i almost always use FCP) but is there any way that i could fix this? thanks

  • @AbsoluteZeroNJ I'm not sure if I get what you are talking about, but there are markers that set start and end point of rendering. They are located above bars of your layers. They make light gray rectangle and they start and end with yellow ones. You can see it on this video. Hope it helps.

  • way cool man, I understand this SO much better now.

  • thank you!

  • Cool, thanks for that.

  • Buen aporte,,,saludos

  • great effect breakdown. thank you.

  • This Ae f/x edit process is must viewing for every new(er) editor who is happy with their early work.

Tedious and laborious is part of the art: but not for the faint of heart.

  • nice tutorial....

  • Ty! Very helpfull!

  • @iCostaa so you watched 13 minute long video in a couple of minutes? really nice.

  • @ratedfx Of course not, but I'm not a beginner in after effects, it was enough to scrub over the video to understand how the effect was made. I don´t have to watch every single step.

  • firsttt!!! very cool ;)
