  • lol at all the butthurt car salesmen venting.

  • Hey, why don't you put an investigative reporter to go be a shoe salesman...or a real estate broker.....or the owner of your local corner grocery store.

he comment above hits it on the head. Everyone on this planet can make a profit except automobile people. Are there any websites that tell you how much to pay for that big screen tv that you see at Walmart? And people who do things like this think they are the FBI or something. Plain ole stupidity. Get a life.

  • This ia ad for his book. He does not say any thing here

  • i hate going to dealership i used carshendotcom

  • DO YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO WORKS FOR FREE. THIS IS BULLSHIT AND IAM NOT A CAR SALESMAN PERSON.

  • I am a car salesman and I am not in it to just get a quick buck. I am here to do change the perseption of customers about salespeople and people like you are the ones that make us have a bad name! Every one of the salesman I work with are actually here to take care of the customer not take advantage of the customer! Three months at some shady dealership is not enought to make statements about my proffesion!! edmunds should be banned from the internet!!!!

  • @eg98c4 car sales people car never honest..

  • Comment removed

  • I read his article before I started in car sales, what I read and expected was different then what I encountered. The reason some say they don't plan on doing this is because sales gets a bad rap. The way dealerships are today, they rely on bebacks, referals, service, I had a few people buy because they think our service dept. is the best around. So this guy only doing undercover for 3 months, and the 3 months were combined with just working at 2 different dealerships, haggle and no haggle(lol)

  • I cant believe he said Gangbangers..what a joke.

Edmunds you are truly a disgrace.

  • Just like any profession, you have good ones and bad ones. Most people don't realize that there is more of a mark up % wise in TV's, furniture, and appliances than in cars yet people think dealers rip them off if they actually make a profit on selling a good. Funny!

  • I've been a car salesman for over 20 years. I aim to sell 20 cars a month averaging £100 a car on top of my £900 a month basic pay. Thats £2900 gross and after tax and national insurance it boils down to around £2100 take home. I work 6 days a week and most nights till 7pm. A refuse collector picks up more than I do per hour. I have never ripped a person off in my life and never will do. I provide a service with pride.

  • @scousekev100 Why don't you start your own car dealership? In theory a 10K loan = 5 2 grand cars, which yiu can then sell for, say 2.7K, hence 3.5K profit. Rinse and repeat the process.

  • That guy is weird. Is it really a car sales person fault people spend too much at the dealerships? I think its their own fault. Thank goodness thier are some people that are not affraid to ask for and get the money. If the US was built on fairness and charity we would have never came to be.Someone has to make money for this whole thing to keep going. With all the DEAD BEATS that we allow to not work and suckle off the boob of tax payer. Buyer be ware.. LONG TIME CAR GUY.

  • Tell me, when you walk into a clothing store, are you really looking for something in particular?

  • WoW! Just WoW ... what a load of perpetual crap

your local new car dealers are some of the most generous businesses in American within their communities as well as some of the largest charitable givers in America.

The Average Dealership in America retains around 1.3 - 2.2 % net profit before taxes after expenses ... smallest margins of any business

Buying a new vehicle or used vehicle in America is THE SMALLEST MARGIN %purchase consumers make ... across all retail sales .. period

  • @ThePatriotMind BWAHAHAH!!! right...that's why they have such tiny dealerships and showrooms, only a few cars to sell and only 1 or 2 salesmen....right?!? typical used car salesmen... LMFAO!!!

SALES IS SALES!!! i use to do floor sales @ office depot back in college...and you'd come in wanting to buy a printer, my job was to get you to buy the most expensive model based of it's "features", then make sure you didn't leave, without buying the addtnl. add-ons like a extended warrenty. it's SALES!

  • If I ever run into this guy, I would chop off his pointer, thumb and ring finger. Fuckin Rat.

  • in my opinion the "new immigrant community is the best paying honest hardest working individuals, middle to poor class us citizens have awful credit they are picky rude and want low interest rates which they don't deserve the will invent any excuse not to pay the loan, while immigrant are hard to convince once they sign they pay to the last dime this is coming from some one whose seen thousands of credit scores!

  • big sham going on in California by financing companies mostly with used car dealers may new as well, were they sell cars to illegal immigrants as long as they have a consular I.D, they give them a 12% add on rate same as 21% apr, this is the financing companies, the dealer only follows their guidelines if the car gets impounded they being the lien holders can make the person still pay the car without getting out the impound or lie and resale the car without notice to the borrower sham!

  • Wow, I sold cars for 5 years and what nonsense.

  • Nice info . BUT NOT DONE BUY A PRO. I mean not done buy a guy who was in the dealerships and worked in the dealerships for 20 yrs. Good job . But if you want to see the secrets ? Go to htt // dealershipsecret.weebly.com I hope you like it. Frank E.Davis on face book see all what goes on buy a real guy. too the point .

  • This vid makes it clear that the investigator thinks it is a crime to make money. Don't all businesses make money? No they don't. The one's that do not make money go out of business. What that the point of the investigation: to state that all car businesses in America should go out of business? Why does the media and Edmunds in particular think profit is a dirty word? It makes me SICK Edmunds is a crap company of losers who promote failure with their dogmatic reporting. They make money?

  • that is in the sales tower. They actually don't straight up lie to you about this, but they are trying to deceive you and that's the truth. The whole dealership also convinces themselves that all the deceiving they do is necessary to help people out. Almost all the people that a car salesmen also hate their lives. They just got no where else to turn to. Its good money, but not worth the hours and if you are a honest salesman, the customers all hate you anyways.

  • them over to another salesman (even though clearly the customer wants to leave). Your managers will tell you to make sure you turn everyone, and you will try to turn someone with bad credit to a manager and they won't even go out to talk to them. I understand that every job is to make money, but the dealerships are ruthless and don't really give a crap about people, they just want to portray that they do. And the worst thing is when the dealers call this "used car buyer", its actually a manager

  • I was a car salesman, it sucked, and yes I also sucked at it. I love people and I love cars, but that has nothing to do with selling cars. You have to be able to gain peoples trust, which I was good at, but my problem was that I made these people my friends and I couldn't lead them to a path I didn't agree with. The truth is car salesmen are deceiving and its mainly the dealerships doing. If someone comes on the lot, you will get chewed out if you don't force them to come in or if you don't turn

  • I think this delusional man watched too many movies with spies, undercover cops, and hit men. His article is a malicious misrepresentation of real car salespeople. It is a hatchet job. Edmunds should be ashemed.

  • To take it a step further to all the idiots who think "gang bangers" and "ex-cons" are in the industry?? They would be blessed if they were allowed to sell cars...Unfortunately every car salesman needs to pass a "background check"

    Why you ask??????

Well only because they will be handling your most and I mean "MOST" personal information.. So maybe "NEXT" time you decide ta waste a "car salesman" time.... You might want to remember that....... "KARMA COMES IN MANY WAYS"

  • It doesn't take rocket science to be a car salesman but it's a job and it beats feeding off the government like thousands of people are doing. Before being so critical realize that many of this people do have families who do need food and clothes and school supplies just like every single one of you!!!!! You do not go to Best Buy or Target or Macy's or Nordstroms and ask for a discount???? Even when you are paying 18-24% interest rate?????

  • Comment removed

  • @David12King

And that's probably all they are making on the sale, front and back end. Trying to take more money from the car dealer in this day and age is kind of like taking money from a college student - there really isn't that much more to take. New cars probably have the least amount of mark up and profit margin of anything you will ever buy (even if you pay full MSRP), but we still have this notion that we are getting ripped off by dishonest people.

  • @jewelsedge00 Actually I would never buy at Macy's without the discount because they jack up their prices and offer perpetual discount cards to make you feel like you're saving. It's called price-conditioning, look it up. Pretending that sticker price is the 'real' price is childish nonsense. And the author realizes salespeople have families to feed. If you read the article you'd see that it's the management he points to as the culprits.

  • Like it or not the car business where a guy with a GED or PhD could walk in every day and make a good living (100 k) and some of the better ones made much more than that. Customers are like anything else you have good ones and bad ones. But he ones that always blew my mind were the ones with Bad credit LOL they never paid for anything on time in their lives but still wanted that low monthly payment.

  • lmfao did this guy actually said gangbangers?

  • This is the dumbest video and a poor portrayal of car salesman.

  • two fruit cakes driving around cerritos auto sqaure and talking about gang banging go figure .........hmmmmmmm

  • These guys are Fuckn strokers... I tell Stroker's to GTFO.... GET THE FUCK OUT

  • Omg, if people get out of the car buisiness it's usually because they were not very good at it...It's an honest living and the general public just stereo type them because of a few bad apples...

  • such bullshit, this is a joke.

  • Pay sticker it's quicker

  • The actual article was really well written. It's long but definitely worth the read, if for nothing more than entertainment value.

  • I knew a guy that sold used cars. He said he quit because he got tired of having to lie to people.

  • I am a gang banger, Ive killed 500 people selling hondas

  • click it or ticket!!!!

  • This is the stupidest thing Ive ever seen on youtube. Get a real story idiots. I love the drama music too. Why dont you but a dealership and become the hero owner or salesman, see how you can save the world morons!

  • I can relate to this video, I know many auto salesman, its a pretty grimy scene. Not an honest living.

  • you are causing other people loose money to make minimum wage by edmund....get a real job you fuck

  • Have you ever gone car shopping and the salesman said:

    1. my father has cancer.

  • 2. i have to feed my familiy too. 3. i have sold no cars this week. 4. we are losing money on this deal. 5. lets split the difference. 6. can i bring you a soda or water. 7. look at the pictures of my family. 8. other salespeople lie, i dont. and other stuff like that. or did they: 1. get mad for "wasting my time" 2. make you feel guilty. 3. work you for a long time to tire you. 4. took your keys or D.L. so you walk back in to ask for them and they sit you down again.
  • 5. didnt take your keys D.L. byt as you are leaving another salesman just happens to be walking by you and says, "what happend? no deal? let me try to get them to budge" and you sit down again.

omg, there are sooo many good sales techniques used that half the time customers have no clue that what is happening is actually coldly calculated.

dont even get me started on "fees" they then add to the price of the car. tire fees, oil fees, destination fees, etc etc... ALL fees are a joke.

  • to get a good price is very very hard and most people cant do it. even well educated dont always do well against the car salesman. even being smart is of little use in that arena because they simple will not sell to you if all they have to do is wait for the next dumb customer to walk in and by at any price.

so do your homework to get the best deal.

  • borinnnnnnnnnnnnnng

  • Edmunds is ran by car guys...they are pretty smart in the fact of takin on the educated buyer and making money off them by tellin them how to buy cars...they are very stupid!!!!! edmunds your a joke

  • I buy my cars a different way now. I find a price I like, walk into my credit union, 5 minutes later they give me a check then I get the car. NEVER use the dealerships financing!

  • I've been a car salesman selling, Nissans and Toyotas. People will haggle you until you only make a $75 sale off them and there's not much profit these days to make alot more than that on NEW cars.

Used cars have a much higher profit margin. Where I worked at we started at MSRP always and gave you any incentive that was already there. Still people wanted to haggle. I've come to the realization that being a salesperson is only good if you're selling a rare luxury brand like porsche for example.

  • Would you stop already, after the salesman makes a buck off of you they turn you over to the finance manager and they try to make another buck off of you and then they pass you along to their serive dept for extended warranties where they try to make another buck off of you. A car salesman, realtor, furniture salesman, retail salesman do absolutely nothing to influence my decisions in purchasing any item. They should just omit them all. I hate the bulsh*t that comes with them.

  • hey douche bags, when did it become such a crime to turn a profit. It is the consumers who think they can grind until there is no profit left... what the fuck is that? Communism operates like that. Be thankful that you live in a society where you have options as to what you drive. And furthermore, when was the last time you told the checker at the grocery store that you want a discount on your purchase. ANy discount from suggested retail IS A DEAL. ITs just a job, give us salesmen a break.

  • i@mossyswinger I also wonder if they go to work and not clock in? I think not!! I will make money.

  • I would love to come down to all of your job's and claim that each and everyone of you is the anti christ for making a buck...so you say we lie and you cant trust us, but the customer really lies more than the salesman through the whole transaction.

  • At least car salesmen are way above a reporter on the "who can you trust" list.

  • god dam dont take a rocket scientist to figure that out he had to go under cover for that shit

  • Why can't buying a car be as easy as buying something at the gocery store?

  • Cars aren't as simple nor as homogenous as fruit and vegetables. But too many people still refuse to educate themselves about the vehicles. Too much work. They're too lazy to spend time reading, comparing, doing simple math.

The only thing a car salesman has to offer an educated consumer is "go-fer" convenience: "Go fer the keys on that one - I want a test-drive"...."Go fer your sales manager if YOU don't have the authority to make this deal - I won't waste my time with you."

  • Yea you have to be tough with them. One wrong move and they frekin rip you off.

  • @FordCopChrist1995

It can be. Just pay the MSRP. You pay the MSRP for a gallon of milk, why not for a car? It is you who makes things so complicated, not the salesman.

  • @Sandybestdog because my grocer isn't a douche.

  • @whaaaaateverful

Oh ok, so the grocer is allowed to make money, but if the car dealership does, they're a douche? Gee, with that kind of attitude, I'm sure you are bound to have a bad car buying experience.

  • people should start taking responsibility for their own stupidity and laziness for not being able to negotiate or do their homework properlywhen purchasing a car and stop blaming dishonest carsalesmen. ITS YOUR FAULT you got taken idiots!!!

  • car sales people are the antichrist

  • haha.. funny to see how our life is closely woven around religion

  • It's only funny if you think religion is a joke. Then, the joke is on you and there is nothing you can do about it.

  • well its my pleasure.. what more i can say... but christ should seriously consider destroying the 'anti' christ .. lol

  • Edmonds missed the big picture of how just unhonest the whole system really is floorplans, dealer incentives, csi, FI, and dirty booking and what it has done for the banking in worthless paper. The artical was just a grain of sand on the beach. He wasted the money and time of the editor and only outraged a few, corruption is in the artical, Gm's and Sm's would have been arrested. Local goverment, senoir execs of manf, media, bank, etc r involed in corrupation. salesman do not know!

  • To Your Comment "You are so right must have been in the slave trade of the business." .... REPLY .... Thanx. I was stuck in that slavery 4 a while until I woke up. Only had Sunday 2 myself. No family time, no recreation, 12-14hrs/day chasin ppl, constantly tryin 2 outsmart common sense & logic, & most disheartenin is ..... $100/Car at least 95% of the time if U sell. SICKENING !! Makes me wanna Puke.

  • whats so bad about a car salesman?

  • There may not be much wrong W being a Salesman. The big Questions R ....

    (1) R U sellin something ppl want or need?

    (2) What type of lifestyle does it lead U into?

The life of a Car Salesman in my opinion, is pathetic

  • If you noticed,,,I did state that that was my POV..By you saying "go into business for someone else," puts me in a position of defense. I thank you for your time in replying to my post. Now let me get back to "Knockin some Heads off here." Im workin a 4 Pounder that will put at least a "G" in my pocket to blow at the "But naked" this weekend........lol

  • what the fuck are you talking about ?

  • Its IRONIC that Edmunds can put this online. This website would not be in existence if it were not for Care Salesmen like me, Selling cars. It can be a lucrative business, and honest at the same time. You have to take the bad with the good. I dont like this report at all. Stick to Cars, and not to badger the people that keep you around....my POV....

  • What are you talking about?? Edmunds is a consumer reporting service, they have nothing to do with you. The idea behind a consumer publication is that they will tell the consumers what they need to know, in this case that there are a lot of poor car dealers out there. If they didn't do things like this, they wouldn't be in business. If you don't like the idea of working in an industry that is so universally looked down upon, go into business for someone else!!!

  • I know more about the cars at the shops than the salesmen, it gets annoying sometimes.

  • yeah me to its f'in anyoin

  • @arlingo Most customers do

  • waste of my time

  • I have seen so many of these it's sickening. Yes there are crooked people out there, like in any industry. But the majority are honest and hard working people, This guy has no idea . They pop in for 3 months and they think they know the industry, how about the politicians, the wasteful spending, the billions of tax dollars. This guy was just in the wrong place. He has not seen the whole picture, which is mostly the case with these posts. they are just looking for their 15 minutes of fame. SAD

  • love how he was nervous, like theyre going to take him out back and shoot him if his cover is blown.

  • Yes, here in LA almost all the salesmen are former gangbangers that are trying to go good.

  • when my dad got a new car, he noticed the mileage was already at 400km, which is unusually high for a car that came overseas. So he got so pissed, the guy came back and gave him a cool bag as an apology gift for the 400km used on the car before he even got to drive it. I noticed then someone else walked away from the dealership happily with the same cooler bag...

  • Several years ago I was a salesman too.

The true face of capitalism is lies, lies, lies. The training we received was "Tell people whatever They WANT TO LISTE, but don;t be stupid never say the true, because you will lost money.

Ha Ha HA. No doubt capitalism is Lie , Lie, LIES.

  • Capitalism: an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state.

Lies are a product of greed or an attempt to control others. If think that the State is not prone to these malignancies, you need to study history.

  • on your statement capitalismis a a lie, the biggest example is 700 billion dollar tax bailout to banks to stimulate the economy, That is not capitalism it is social/comunism.

  • nice ride, edmunds ;p

  • Why are gangbangers working there? What the hell is he talking about? Aren't they selling drugs?

  • got ot be a bit naive to think any kind of salesperson is straight all of the time..duh!

  • there in ceriittoes

  • stupid

  • My uncle's a car salesman....

  • mine too...

  • cool story bro

  • There is nothing fishy in the article either.

In fact here is a quote that made me laugh, "While Michael was training me, he didn't ever say, "Here's how to cheat the customer," or, "This is how we inflate the prices." In fact, he stressed that I was supposed to treat customers with respect to build a strong C.S.I. (Customer Satisfaction Index).

Wow, what a shady bunch of salesmen :)

  • What's the car at 1:17?

  • Looks like the new Chevy Camaro

  • Its a Dodge Challenger

  • Dodge's Challenger

  • Man the new 7-Series looks great.

  • certainly does!

  • I thought this was going to expose the behind the scenes tricks of the trade, this video at the end of the day told me NOTHING,...yeah car dealers are dishonest, newsflash , I thought we were going to get specific! waste of time

  • I guess there is good and bad everywhere. Longevity will expose the posers.

  • Oh my goodness, and I thought all car salesman were college educated, and had to pass top secret government car salemans exams!

Are you kidding me! you're not exposing anything here. And who the fuck really thinks car salesman look professional, they're mostly bottom feeders, ex cons, and/ or con-men.

  • I agree, this is retarded and also it tars a lot of people with the same brush.

  • I know. Right?

  • While a good number of are not Gangbangers and crooks like he wants us to think, its a job that anyone can do. Even a caveman can get a Car Salesman job, as long as you're ready to slave your life away, and chase down other humans. Its the most demeanin, most humiliatin, job I ever did in my life. The pay is good (on paper) but what happens in the real world would bring tears to your eyes. Wouldnt recommend such a miserable way of life to an enemy.

  • holank jemsis olenko is andigoti

  • Very interesting...

  • Some true & some not do not beleive everything you hear

  • Comment removed

  • I read this article on edmunds a while back, great read.

  • obvious ..

  • So so true!

  • HAHA! Boy they really over-dramatize this. Well, very well done dramatization, but still...

And he worked with "gangbangers?" Does he know what that means?

    Hmm...

  • gangbangers is slang for criminal gang members. it can mean the sexual term but thats not what he mean't in this video.

  • ?wtf

  • In short, car salesmen are uneducated nitwits who you can get to negotiate a low price on a car that you want because they are friggin' desperate.

  • @file83 you are a fucking idiot!! I am a car salesman and I make more money than you and have perfect customer service scores! We thrive on referrals and return business so we have no choice but to be honest with the customer! I think the job you do if you have a job is a shit job and only uneducated people do it! stupid fuck!

  • I can't say I learned a single thing from watching this.

  • Here's info. Whenever car shop, make sure U have the dealers stampeding over each other 2 sell U their product (just like everybody does) that way you're not paying more than you should, Bcoz The dealers make money off the price, & off the financing too. If U can pay cash, the better, even though their smiling & "thankin U 4 yur business", they R deep inside full of resentment 4U.

  • Well I paid cash for my car, so oops! Haha. And I didn't tell them I'd be paying with cash until after I'd negotiated the sales price (and I did pit three dealerships against each other). I have to say though, I bought a Honda and the dealer I bought from was EXCELLENT to deal with. The guy was just like, "Here's the car, here's the price, here's my card...call me if you're interested." No pressure whatsoever & he beat all the other quotes, so I bought from him. Simple as that.

  • Good Job !! U.R the kinda buyer I met every day (I used 2 sell cars) But ..... Tellin the price up front was off limits !! Either the price was good enough 2 get their attention (But was 2 low 4 the bosses) or wasnt competiive W the other dealers they shopped. So they moved on. U bought from the guy selling at the "LOWEST PRICE" Salute to U. Thats the major dissadvantage an "errand boy" at the dealership has. They're not saying that in this video. Celebrate W you !!!

  • @papatoony I think the point of the video was to get you to read the article not to be really informative.

  • honda seems to be doing pretty good as gas milage, it could go about, 200k or more if its taken good care..

  • Join a credit union and have access to "Fleet Sales" prices. Only rare cases where bidding down to absolutely lowest price is possible but it will cost you time to play several back and forth exchanges between salesperson and manager. I would have been out the door and with options at fixed cost plus prices. Fleet managers have a fixed price in a binder so it's best to buy early in the year as later in the season is not discounted and you have less chocies in models.

  • O noes!

  • Assistam > DANILO EMO DANÇANDO PSY e também > FUNK DA PEDALADA

  • car salesmen might lie to you and bum you out of more money than what's at value. what a shocking truth.

  • what all of you need to understand is that no one gets a good deal no matter what in your mind "wow that's cheap" but in reality the production cost of a car is usually shy of 10,000 everything else is just gip'd

  • Part of this is relative however. No offense but, if you buy a car that fits your budget and are absolutely satisfied with your purchase now and for years to come, you got a good deal. I also don't think a smart car shopper is looking for a "cheap" car, just a good value. Of course the margins are high....it's a business like any other. Want to know what the mark up on a Big Mac is??? I don't think you are really enlightening anyone here, that's all.

  • this videos pretty cool

  • You can hear the edited voice over (hmm.....suspicious) just after 2:54 at the word "claim"

  • by george...i think ur right!

  • so right that they deleted my comment exposing their edited voice over dialogue...

I do this stuff a living (not shady stuff, but audio and voice over stuff)... it's definitely tampered

  • I hav a realative that sells cars and he is as honest and fair as anyone so Idk where they get this junk

  • ....just another biased news broadcast

  • I think you give this too much credit by calling it "news."

  • sorry, talk show on wheels

  • What about the scum bag customers who lie through their teeth.

    It's a simple transaction, where's the mystery?

  • I hate when these scumbag "salesmen" convince customers to purchase "undercar protection", and then laugh about it with their fellow "salesmen" because new cars already come with "undercar protection" from the factory. Undercar/undercoat, I don't know which but, it's a spray applied under the car to protect it from the elements and rusting.

  • @MrRedPajamas you are an idiot! you are the dumb ass that bought it! if you didnt think it was the real deal than you are stupid for pulling the trigger on it! salesman work very hard at what they do and are about as honest as you can get!!

  • @eg98c4 really??

  • ya is so hard to get a job as a Car Salesman! PPPPppuuffff hahahahah right.

  • I sold cars for 14 years.what sucks is the people that have the worst credit and least money is who the dealership makes the most money on. the people who are the most educated usually get the best rate and the best deal simply because they are better hagglers.

  • You went to all that trouble to find out that car salesmen are dodgy?

Car salesmen are consistently rated lowest on polls of which professions people trust.

BOTH the guys in this video are just giving us a scripted sales pitch for their website!

  • Maybe some people aren't as well informed as you. Perhaps some people were unaware that car salesmen were "dodgy"

  • Thats why I adviced "eyedirector" to reconsider B4 he finds himself in a slave camp called "Car Dealership" to sell cars. The Car Dealer & the managers are the only ones who make money .... off the financing end of the sale. The "errand boy" that sells the car gets $100 on the sale. Oh BTW ppl bought cars often were told something, and they found out something else later. Its no surprise Car Salesment are resent'd largely.

  • Comment removed

  • As if these assholes are any different than a car salesman. What did they tell you here? Come to them? Buy the book? Of course you will have to pay for the information, unlike the car salesman who will take you for a test drive on perhaps several vehicles, explain the features all all of them, offer you on the spot financing at a competative rate. How much should a man make for six hours of work? How much should a dealer make on a 30,000 transaction? Screw the publishers and authors!

  • i like that some smart people comment here. edmunds. com sucks

  • Is this video parody????? If not then seems wrong to tar so many people with the same brush, and furthermore don't tempt that Obama to nationalize the car sales industry, haha.

  • The only ppl profiting in the Car Sales business R those who were "born there" Its modern day slavery period. Confessions .... The diff btw sticker & cost price divided by 4 = Salesman's pay. But, once buyer starts hagglin price, the pay tanks 2A miserly $100/Car. Thats another reason why they avoid talkin price upfront. Imagine selling 10 Cars/mo, & not meeting Bonus Criteria. BEEN THERE, DONE THAT. 95% of Customers price shop anyway, so why subject myself to such new age slavery? WTH!

  • ...I agree...with all the discounts on new cars there is little money to pay the staff. I had to laugh at sparwood8 comment about dealing with new immigrants, they are the most clueless bunch and are absolutly convinced that the car should sell for half off. lol
