I have always loved Chrissy Steele!! She is Hot and she has a Great Voice!! She should have been huge!! I have and love her CD Magnet To Steele and I listen to it all the time!! One more Great and Overlooked Hard Rock Female Singer!!
No, she did not record a second album-Chrysalis records was bought out by EMI. She recorded a demo to be shopped to other record companies , it was never intended to be released

I would love to see Chrissy Steele come back into the music business. I love her work. And I too....have this CD. I wish there was more of her work to obtain.
@mnplaytoy Interestingly, Chrissy Steele actually did record a second album. It was never actually released though. There's also been rumours of a possible new album but nothing has happened yet.
I got to see her in Concert when i was in college. Got to stand about 5 feet from the band and meet them all and got all their autographs. Pretty cool people and glad to see these on here. Thank you for posting Chrissy Steele. Rock on
I played this cassette so many times that it broke; every track completely kicked ass! I was a rock singer just starting out when this album came out and the first thing I thought was: "Oh man, I wish I could sing like her!"
Don't know where Chrissy is these days, but I hope she's still rockin it somewhere!
Saw her open for Jethro Tull in 1992. I picked her album the next day. I loved every song. I always looked for a second album for years but never saw one.
Ex drummer with Bootsauce here...this is OUTSTANDING ! Canadian rock is not what it used to be. This is as good as it gets ! Hopefully it will come back. All the best Chrissy. You are truly one of a kind.
Better than Lita, Doro, and all those others "queens of metal," Chrissy Steele is the definition of "powerful female-fronted metal," but I love Lorraine Lewis a lot too. This woman has chords!
I saw her open for Jethro Tull in 1991 at the theatre under Madison Square Garden. I bought her CD the next day, and have been waiting for a new CD ever since, nothing. I guess this debut Cd didn't do too well. Everybody I turned on to Chrissy bought Magnet to Steele. That concert was amazing and the volume was the most comfortable I ever heard. Cmon Chrissy check out your you tube and let us know what's happening.
Bought her CD back in the 90's at a metal bar called "The Mirage" in Minneapolis, MN. Bar's long gone, so this kick ass singer. I miss her, but still got the kick ass CD.
I saw her live at the Great Canadian Party at Thunderbird Stadium in Vancouver in 1992. Great show, tons of energy, great voice. Too bad she sank into obscurity!
I remember back when I was 10 years old (about 16 years ago) one of the guitarst lived above me (the one who has close up at 3:50) I remember watching this video with them before it even hit MTV. Still a good song to this day. Hope they are all doing well.
Not so good, Brian McLeod(guitars)died of cancer a while after this was made. He was the main songwriter, and it took the heart right out of the band. Don't know about the others, last I heard, Chrissy was a computer programmer in Victoria.
Absolutely one awesome video. It's a lost treasure. She is one of those musicians who got lost in the shuffle, while Lita Ford and Doro Pesch (Warlock) dominated the female heavy metal genre. This lady can box with the rest of them. Do not miss this video if you love women who rock.
A rare gem. I first saw this video on MTV's Heasdbangers Ball back in 1989. Absolutely kicks some serious derriere. It is work adding to your favorites.
WOW! She has the most amazing voice, whatever became of her? Last I heard she was working for a computer programming company or something, what a waste of such a talent
Lyrics, please?

This is good, but Femme Fatale's Lorrain Lewis is better.

Very reminiscent of Allannah Myles in a lot of ways. Too Loud (RIP) puts it over the top though, loved his style.
