I loved my YZ450, it hauled arse but it was a terrible trail bike, too much top end power and not enough low end torque. Damn thin would wheelie in 4th (top gear for an '04). But the MX suspension was way to harsh for trail riding in the rocks.
Cool, I'm assuming that was a cold start because you had trouble starting. Id highly recommend letting your bike warm up before riding it. It will dampen the problems you may have down the road. Looks fun though.
@rxvexe It does matter. I can improve the lifespan of your engine, this goes for all engines. Most dirt bike engines don't rev high when their cold anyway. Go ahead and do some research, I'm sure there is a post about it on the Yamaha forums specifically for this bike.
@mx4life9 well, idk if its literally faster but its mostly all about the rider and how you handle the bike. i've always stuck to yamaha because i know they are very reliable and the only problems they've ever had were caused by me. Out of the people i know though, more agree that this baby is a lot faster than the others
jesus get some gear on buddy, or learn the hard way. u miss that kick start and hit ur shin on the footpeg ull know about it...trust me 8 stitches.
