i don't think you understand what i mean. Mexico was just recovering from the revolution that kicked out the Spanish establishment so that it may have its independence. The US knew they were recovering and so decided to spark a war to take that land that was with gold and silver. It just so happens they discovered those metals after the treaty was signed. Now when Mexico had just fought to liberate itself, the US decided to plunder it from its precious resources when they needed it the most.

The US has had an entire history of wars that aimed at controlling the land and resources of other countries. What right do they have? I thought the US did have such criterias. But jobs that American companies create in Mex pay lower wages than the same jobs in the US. Things like this is what makes illegal immigration.
