Guns are heavily controlled here in Australia. If we had the same population as the USA, our total gun deaths per year would be around 4500. The US has about 31000 gun deaths per year. Guns are heavily controlled here in Australia. If we had the same population as the USA, our total gun deaths per year would be around 4500. The US has about 31000 gun deaths per year. I'm not stating this as propaganda or to influence a national question which is none of my business. I hate the oppressive gun laws in my own country but the numbers don't lie. Gun freedom comes at a price - the only question to ask is "Are we willing to pay it?". I think America says yes and I can respect that.

No traffic jam, no idiots who drive drunk or who don't care much about safety, less co^2, police/ambulance/delivery-trucks would be faster at their destinations, criminals won't be able to escape with a personal car etc. there are a lot of good reasons to ban personal vehicles
