Christ suffered no more or less than any other fictional character. There is absolutely no evidence for the existence of Adam and Eve. Hello. I have no idea if this shroud belong to Jesus or anyone. There is something that none of these documents ever say: Body fluids such as blood, urine, and semen all glow under ultra violet let. They also decay over time. This would explain a faded image under visual light but it also informs as to why we still see something under ultra-violet light. The image could've been applied in blood. As for pollen, we must admit that pollen could've been transferred from handlers over time.

@positron66 The shroud has different cloth woven into it in order to keep it in tact. The outer part of the cloth is probably 1st century. Over the years different people have tried to keep the shroud in tact.

Because of this, the edges were remended with 15th century cloth, which was where the carbon dating was taken from. 1st century and 15th century cloth woven together. This produced the non-actual date of 1200's A.D. The cloth is likely very authentic and even though open to interpretation, Is VERY MUCH likely to be the burial cloth of Jesus Christ. You cannot use the carbon dating test as proof of it being fake...

God, through His disciples, are doing miracles all over the world at the present time. I saw Jesus in a vision. The image on the shroud is very close but it is not an image of a Jewish man, it is more likely as Italian 50 year old male farmer from the first or the tenth century. If the Shroud was a painting, then the forger would not, and could not, have requred the use of a real person to work from. Yet the image on the Shroud is of an anatomically 'perfect' individual. If the forger used a real individual to create the Shroud image, then the forger must have applied medieval paints, and so forh, onto a seiously beaten and flagellated individual ? I don't think so. Thus those pigments referred to are real blood and real human emissions.Thus the coroner account is true.

But, we also have to remember that this cloth will burn someday and we will only have God himself to stand before. I'm looking forward to that day, to see God himself. Hello. I have no idea if this shroud belong to Jesus or anyone. There is something that none of these documents ever say: Body fluids such as blood, urine, and semen all glow under ultra violet let. They also decay over time. This would explain a faded image under visual light but it also informs as to why we still see something under ultra-violet light. The image could've been applied in blood. As for pollen, we must admit that pollen could've been transferred from handlers over time.

The scientists took a piece from 1 corner of the shroud to avoid damaging it, to make the carbon dating test, but it turned to be a small piece attached & sewed perfectly to the same corner, to prevent it from deteriorating, the piece attached goes back to the midieval centuries, & was made in France.
That was mentioned in the latest documentary aired on the History Channel, it was about using the latest 3 D technology to create a real face of Christ, through the Shroud.

John Calvin calculated that to carry all the relics of" christs cross" venerated in christian communities, you would need 300 people.

@positron66 The shroud has different cloth woven into it in order to keep it in tact. The outer part of the cloth is probably 1st century. Over the years different people have tried to keep the shroud in tact.

@positron66 Actually, the Shroud of Turin was in a fire in the 15 or 1600's. Because of this, the edges were remended with 15th century cloth, which was where the carbon dating was taken from. 1st century and 15th century cloth woven together. This produced the non-actual date of 1200's A.D. The cloth is likely very authentic and even though open to interpretation, Is VERY MUCH likely to be the burial cloth of Jesus Christ. You cannot use the carbon dating test as proof of it being fake...

And now they say it is from the time of JESUS CHRIST. hmmm interesting. The outer pieces were put there to fix the rip or torn parts. But the real part is 2000 yrs old. And they did find blood on it.

@SteveArpo Everyone dies. So, technically just because a six year old dies in a horrible way does not really differ from an 80 year old dying from cancer. The exact same result. We are all going to die and will die at different times. Just because evil corrupts peoples and they end up forcing death upon you does not make believing in God bad. The best thing we can do is hope whenever we do die we end up in the paradise known as heaven.

I saw Jesus in a vision. The image on the shroud is very close but it is not an image of a Jewish man, it is more likely as Italian 50 year old male farmer from the first or the tenth century. I am not saying the shroud is fake, it is authentic shroud for crucified man but not for Jesus Christ. Jewish face usually is smaller and with lifted-up long nose. Also--INDEPENDENT analysis has found paint pigment on the cloth in a color inconsistent with that of aged blood. Also, they said the blood on the shroud is type-AB. The interesting thing about Type-AB blood is that it can be given to anyone, regardless of their blood-type. That is an incredibly symbolic gesture, one that couldn't have been intended by an ancient-artist, therefore is an amazing coincidence, or, something more.

I am aware that carbon 14 dating is not accurate- nor is your taunt re Da Vinci. If there is one thing that science is more or less in agreement on, it is that the image was not painted, nor was it produced by "pin hole"photograpy as you suggest- even assuming that somebody knew how to achieve any sort of image using photography before the 1800`s.
