Love this video and wish that I had a Nana such as Mrs. Spellman. I also was thrilled to see Mrs. Spellman throwing her yarn as she knitted. So many folks knit the other way (I have tried and can't seem to get the hang of it). I think throwing the yarn, which is the English way is just as good as picking it (Swiss or German way). Thanks for the post.
I live in Ireland and often see these jumpers for sale, often people forget how much work and dedication goes into making these. Elsie is a wonderful woman. Thanks for the video!

I cant stop thinking about the 'throw' on the back of elsie's sofa, I cant find a pattern for it. Isit called 'trellis' or 'honeycombe' please.
