The problem with these ads is that they are too long and in the meantime the video isn't loading in the background. I like to load up all my videos in advance while I watch others so slow loading doesn't impact on my viewing. The way these are structured I can't do that. I'm not going to watch 5 mins of ads up front to load up a 10 part program. The net isn't tv on a pc. You need to redesign these ads so they are more effective and less intrusive in this medium. I'd say 5-10 secs tops.

Stop crying about ads. Ad supported television is how it used to be. And I would be happy to go back to that time when I didn't have a huge cable bill to pay every month. Actually , when you tube first started, it was about community. A lot of vlogs. Now that Google has bought it, it is very much about how much money they can wring out of the structure.

And the point of the web is information. Not commercials. Money is the root of a lot of exploitation.
