  • awsome video, beauty buck. I hunt whitetails in Nova Scotia where I live. Comparing hunting here with hunting there is like comparing apples and oranges, we don't have the deer or the size bucks you have out west. The deer in your vid is bigger than any i have ever seen. Hope you get what your after next year.

  • Great videos! Well put Moviegeek, don't see anything round here in Nova Scotia like that. 100 deer in a day hahaha! That's more than my whole hunting season.

  • how is it that you get to hunt all that land and fish all those lakes in saskatchewan? do you have to get permission, is it public land?

  • impressive i must say there was a 204 shot down here by mayfair this year

  • I want to know how he moved the camera if he was alone at the end when he loaded the deer in the truck?????

  • I am assuming by "he" you mean me.I was showing how I load a deer by myself. For this I had my brother in law use the camera to follow me in the whole demo.

  • Hi...it's a pleasure to meet a fellow hunter I thought you said you were alone in the video then the camera moved. just curious...

    cheers

  • In this part of Saskatchewan it is very open. You dont have to travel very far norh before you are in bush and seeing a deer at 400 yards would be very hard.

  • maybe i'm the one who needs the challenge haha

  • is old mossy a big buck and how big is it if its a big buck?

  • great job i got my first deer with a bow this year it was just like your it was a main frame 8 point with a 6 inch kicker of the brow tines which were 11 inches long and he scored 162 2/8 so once again great job!

  • Thanks! 158.5, not bad for a 4x4 (8 point for you south of the border guys! LOL)

  • hah wow this is weird. i thought i reconized you.

  • thank you, and I will check out your stuff.

  • Well....that is a VERY nice buck 1/2D. Here in Michigan those are few and far between. I took a 10 pt. opening day here and passed on 3 others - and that's alot of action for me. Also, I'm really amazed at the terrain in S. Sask. I always pictured....flat. Looks like great whitetail country! Congrats!

  • Thanks,I know we are very lucky to have the quality and quantity of deer here in Sask. True, Sask has a very diverse landscape. Deep wooded valleys, flat open prairies, forest and rolling hills. I love to hunt all of these areas.Congrats on your deer

  • OOhhh halfdoc!! haha!!! you are the man!! who needs kill shots when you have a redneck idea like that for the ending of yer movie! HAHA!! I LOVE IT!! Good huntin man! I wish i had half the time off work that you do.... yer boss must be getin real pissed by now!! I had 6 days huntin this year bow and rifle huntin all together!!

  • Thanks! LOL I never felt redneck till I went to San FRancisco for shark fishing. That big city made me realize that fact I was a true red neck. I have a great job that only has me scheduled for 185 days a year. 24 hours a day mind you,but loads of time off.

  • Nice buck! I was just wondering what caliber would you suggest me to use for whitetail next year ( my first hunting season )?

  • um depends anywere from 270 308

  • Great video Great Buck, cant wait for part 2

you make loading a big deer look easy, should have seen my grandpa and i try it this year... not cool, actually kind of glad i didnt get it on tape... lol

fishing season is upon us too here in eastern ontario. good luck this year

  • thanks, ya the wheeled cart works slick. Good luck with the icefishing

  • Got cut off..... Wanted to also say... Have fun ice fishing. We start soon too and although I have two deer tags left, with 4 in the freezer I'm done so next vid will probably be kids ice fishing. Looking forward to part 2. I really enjoy your vids as the seem "real" and as you do it yourself. Try searching for "maryland muzzleloader hunt two deer" or something. There is an amazing vid done by an 18 year old kid by himself taking two does with a muzzleloader within minuites.

  • thanks man glad you enjoy the videos. good luck with your hunting and fishing

  • Great! Been checking in to see your next hunting video. 100 deer a day? I knew there were big deer in Saskatchewan but assumed the pop density must be lower... Wow. I saw 15 deer in 70 hrs of active leagal hour hunting here in Maine and that was by far the most I have ever seen in one season. Your buck looks huge to me!
