In this part of Saskatchewan it is very open. You dont have to travel very far norh before you are in bush and seeing a deer at 400 yards would be very hard.
great job i got my first deer with a bow this year it was just like your it was a main frame 8 point with a 6 inch kicker of the brow tines which were 11 inches long and he scored 162 2/8 so once again great job!

Well....that is a VERY nice buck 1/2D. Here in Michigan those are few and far between. I took a 10 pt. opening day here and passed on 3 others - and that's alot of action for me. Also, I'm really amazed at the terrain in S. Sask. I always pictured....flat. Looks like great whitetail country! Congrats!

There is an amazing vid done by an 18 year old kid by himself taking two does with a muzzleloader within minuites.

I saw 15 deer in 70 hrs of active leagal hour hunting here in Maine and that was by far the most I have ever seen in one season. Your buck looks huge to me!
