Thanks for the review. Can you tell me a bit about the quality of the materials, and how well you think that it would hold up under serious wear? Is is comparable to Think Tank quality? Many thanks.
I have used the same bag for 6 months and love it. It holds a colossal amount of gear and remains comfy to carry. Unlike some competitors I like the fact that it has a rain cover and a lifetime warranty.
is the bag comfortable to carry when it's loaded up?
I've got a ton of stuff to go in it. including a shoulder rig, tripod (on the back), glidecam and a slider.. +2 bodies + 4+ lenses + a ton of 'accessories', filters, tools, matte box, micrphone, headphones, monitor, maybe even some lights or reflectors, etc..
:O
I think i'll get most of that in somehow..
I might get a second bag for the slider and tripod if this setup is too heavy..
@NitsanPictures thank you. I have been meaning to do a follow up review with better video of the bag. your comment has just reminded me :) I can now give some feed back about the bag also after some heavy use.
The official CoS biography paints Hubbard as a humanitarian, educator, world explorer, artist, philosopher and, ultimately, the very savior of mankind.Reality paints a much dimmer image. By piecing together his personal journals, his educational and military records, and the words of his own family, we see something much different: a deeply paranoid individual desperate to smash his name into the history books and make millions of dollars pushing his own brand of pop psychology.
@TommyPh500d Not really thinking about upgrading yet, not until i have cash together to do it. IT will either be full frame 5D mkII or a crop sensor.. but byt eh time I dont may be new camera bodies out. Rick
one thing is, how do you open the bag? Like, so say you are wearing the backpack and you want to take a picture, how do you open the bag? Do you turn it around to open or you open it from the back without looking.
@cubeproduktion You have to put the bag down and open the front to gain access, its not a day carry bag with quick access. I use it to carry all my gear on location shoots, camera, lerns, speedlights , stand etc. Rick
Great video (glad there's at least one decent video on the 450 AW). Thanks for sharing! You do have quite a pronounced accent, I'd say (no offence intended!) ;).
I looked at the specifications...it's said to be 17 centimeters (6.69") deep - is it really that deep (wonder if you could measure it...) ? I'm asking because Lowepro says my CompuTrekker is 12.5 centimeters (4.92") deep, but when I measure this, it's barely 12 centimeters...same question for the length inside: 47 cm (18.50") ?
Hi, great video, thanks for sharing. I intend to order this, I really love it but I am not sure it will fit my 16" laptop. What is your opinion? Thanks.
@alinalivialazar Thank you for watching, its a great bag for carrying on locatin with allot of gear. Lowepro say it can take a 17" laptop so you should be fine.
@rickjbradbury Hello, Rick. I ordered the Lowepro Pro Runner 450AW and it arrived today. I can confirm that the laptop fits nicely in the bag, and overall I am quite happy with the purchase. :) Now the only fear I have is if it will be ok to carry it on an airplane as a hand luggage. What is your experience with this?
@alinalivialazar lowepro say it is carry on compatible,, but its all down to weight and airlines... i would always check the conditions of any airline you fly with and have a copy of those conditions printed and in your bag or on your person.
Hi, i've purchased this bag on eBay and arrived nicely. The bag is really what I wanted and it's also stylishly.
Well, I was seaching on eBay the Camera Suction Mount (double), but failed to find. I would like to know how do you call them for a more precise searching. Do you recommend some brand?

@danelovell I will be doing a further video and written review soon on this bag, a friend has also just purchased one so will see if i can add his thoughts also. So far really happy with it but it can be heavy with the amount of kit it can carry.. straps and supports work well though. Like i said its my on location carry all kit bag. Rick
is the tripod 055xdb?

Can you keep the hipstraps out the way when walking around etc comftorably
hikinguphigh 9 months ago
@hikinguphigh Personally i dont think so, as you can feel themm when they are tucked in. I tend to fasten the hip straps anyway.

Hi, I was wondering if you can slot in Apple Mac Book Pro 17" model instead of 15"? Does this bag accommodate that?

@JorisVandenBerghe I just measured the main compartment and got a conservitive 6.5" (16.5 cm) that is from the bottom padding to the zipper.
