I'm not sure Stefano had anything to do with Benji's death.. Sure he's ruthless and very vindictive and he wants his sons to follow and obey him no matter what, but he said that Benji had a beatiful soul and he looked very much pained by his death. If there is one son that Stefano would cut some slack, it would be his Benjamin. I think he really just lost control over Andre, who in pure desperation to save Stefano, killed Benji.
This was an outstanding scene. Both Stephen Nichols and Joe Mascolo were outstanding. I don't know about anyone else but I never truly believed that Stefano didn't have any knowledge about what had happened to Benjy. I think he knew everything that Andre did. JMO!
If I recall it was EJ that killed Benji.

Stephen is brilliant! He always puts up a powerful performance no matter the mood of the scene.
Love his scenes with Joe, they can be comical or emotional. Either way, they are fantastic!
