no, security sucked because they wouldn't let anyone in front unless they had a wristband. they were being unreasonable. the crowd was pretty well behaved. the security were just big assholes
my fav band. big d and the kids table did not put on a good show at all. i didnt like the crowd cuz they suck.. the white kid in the budwizer shirt..... i wanted to get on stage but security pushed me down.. goldfinger put on a great show!... oh and you can see me in this! but barely...
LTJ didnt hav trouble with the security cuz they didnt go against security like GF did.....Another reason the crowd suked was cuz a bunch of ppl left after LTJ, so it left a lot of room in front of the stage. But i do thnk tht the ppl who stayed were fukin crazy and we weren't jus jumpin up and down. I jus found out tht they were filmin 4 a live dvd tht nite, so i guess we'll c how the crowd waz wen tht comes out.
i went to that DKM show back in november too! that shit was crazy! i've never seen the wiltern like that ever before! the people on the balcony were just as wild as the people in front on the floor!
The security were BIG assholes. i managed to get through. i was right in front when fuckin 30 people pushed through behind me, and got beer spilled all over me. fun stuff. but i agree the wiltern is a shitty venue for a Goldfinger. John was a little disapointed. the place to see them would have been at the grove the next day.
I agree, security was crap and ALWAYS is crap at the Wiltern. But let me tell you, when i saw Dropkick Murphys there a few months ago, the security were shitting their pants. They could not stop DKM fans. They just gave up. Security steps in the Pit to try and stop it, they get roughed up, and bitch out. I was moshing with one of their head phones on. It was great. This show, I think the fans really sucked. sorry.
It wasn't the crowds fault. The Wiltern security would only let so many ppl in the area in front of the stage. It was really gay! John tried everything he could to get ppl down there, he even told them to jump the walls, but security there was fuckin gay!
Thats weird wasn't aware of how the security was at this venue(not from california area). Sounds like they were being idiots, but as the poster wrote above, the fans could have just rushed in, more fans than security guards and the band would have backed the fans up.
Wow the crowd was horrible for this show. Everyone just jumping up and down in place and skanking. All the other shows look a lot better. The cleveland show was crazy with mosh pits, and look at the omaha show and chicago shows they were out of control. You couldn't even fit anymore people on the floor. This show looks dead. Goldfinger deserves a lot better.

Wasn't Less Than Jake the headliner, so wouldn't they have played last after goldfinger. Or did Goldfinger play last because it was a hometown crowd.
