  • i had this song stuck in my head all day. god i love it

  • @mtmrose Indiana is not a state, India is .

  • @jonpaio go check a map....

  • can we please all get over the name and start talking about the actual song?! seriously!

  • Why are amateurs commenting on this wicked video?

  • @HawkNelsonLuvrr Lol WTF

  • @westleyd24 trollface.jpg

  • @HawkNelsonLuvrr kesha is a person who talks into a microphone are what ever its called and autotunes her voice to make it sound like shes making music and same goes for what people like you call artist no offence just saying the people of the modern day have forgotten what real music is such as meg and dia

  • @HawkNelsonLuvrr Err, no. Not at all. And there's no connection between this song and Bella and Edward.

  • I don't get the relevance of Indiana in this song.

  • I like this version better than the, "Something Real," remake.

  • Sounds like a ripoff of Frente

  • thumbs up if you love this song :)

  • this song is based on a book, and anyone that thinks its about a state is really retarded.

  • This song is probably about twilight.

  • @loveisanemptycup Lol. FAIL. It came out way before twilight :)

  • @xXBonez13EmzXx I was being sarcastic.

  • @loveisanemptycup I haven't laughed so hard at a youtube comment in a long time. Genius.

  • @LoveTheWorld187 there doing it because they love you, not because they want to treat you like a child, they're over protective parents, but instead of going crazy, maybe you should talk to them and try to make a plan to make you and them happy, love this song, meg and dia write such beautiful songs

  • Jesus, if someone wants to mention that they're name is Indiana or that they live in Indiana, just let them. This is a comment section for people to say what they want. What the hell is wrong with some of you people?

  • Get dropped*

  • @KimberlyAnnKL Its very unique, isn't it. Every time theres true talent they getbdropped by the label for lady gaga or somethin.

  • Comment removed

  • @Thr333Dogg I know it's not right! Meg and Dia have so much talent! And their songs have so much meaning!

  • @LoveTheWorld187 oh no mommy n daddy care suck it up princess, too bad their not alcholics or drug addicts huh then you could have no one saying no right??

  • Ah. . . Meg and Dia's voice is so pretty <3

  • Guys, Dia got into the final of the voice! Vote for her online tuesday and spread the word!

  • one of my favorite songs of all time :D

  • SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC!

  • CAN PPL PLZ STOP SAYING "oh my names Indiana" or "i live in Indiana" and start talking about the actual SONG!!!

  • @hellerat I'll have to read the book sometime, cuz I LOVE this song ^___^

  • Indiana was based on Indiana by George Sand. It is a book so yeah.... ^_^

  • I love this song!

  • Can't stop listening O_o

  • I don't live in Indiana.

  • Could you guys just shut up about where you live? If I wanted to know where you lived, I would have asked. I, along with other people, are here to listen to Meg & Dia's song, Indiana based on the novel by George Sand, NOT based on where you live. So shut up about where you live, and whoever agrees with this, like this so ppl will shut up

  • @Lollipops12345678996 if you came here to listen to the song, why read the comments?

  • @1VC4U Then why read my comment then?

  • @Lollipops12345678996 I'm not complaining about the comments, I'm just wondering why you are. If you "are here to listen to Meg & Dia's song", it's crazy to get upset with people's comments when no one forced you to read them. Just my opinion, you can keep reading comments and telling people to shut while saying you are just on the site to listen to the song. Its your life. Later

  • @1VC4U 'Cause I was curious? I'm pretty sure you've been curious about something at least, I dunno, ONCE?!? Pretty much everyone is. Plus it's kinda hard not to ignore top comments, they're right there. I appreciate your input as well, and yes I'll admit, I do make hypocritical mistakes, I'm human, and I'm me, it's what I do. So good day to you too.

  • It is based on the novel by George Sand...

  • Um... this song has nothing to do with the state Indiana.

  • @mtmrose so they can call it that are u rasiest agiegnt them no i didnt think so

  • @mtmrose I don't think it's supposed to be about the state. Indiana can be a person's name ya know.

  • @mtmrose Its a name. >.> My name.

  • @mtmrose its not about the state you idiot.

  • @WatchMeOffendYou I know that. I was replying to a previous comment with apparently didn't at reply. SO thank you for jumping down my throat and being a comment troll.

  • @mtmrose who said anything about jumping down your throat? i didnt realize it was a reply because it didn't say that it was. i apolagize if i offended you.

  • MY NAME IS INDIANA!!! I LOVE THIS...are there lyrics available for this song?

  • @indianagiordani If you check out the one jesayka she has the lyrics

  • hehe i liv in indiana

  • I fracking want those socks!!!!!!!! XP

  • @emoduzzintsuck668 Meee tooooo<333

  • i fucking love the guitar, but they dont play it the same live. . . . someone tab this shit.

  • i live in CALI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • I hate to tell you all but noone really cares where you live

  • @starswontfade i dont hate to tell you, you are one of those kinds of people that ruins peoples' days just by being around them.

  • @starswontfade No one isn't one word and i hate to tell why r u commenting if no one has said they don't care and if u don't care AGAIN why bother to comment on it. You can not speak for everyone ,and u can only speak for yourself. So we get that u don't care but u don't know 'bout everyone else.

  • @starswontfade I care:D jk that sounds pedofile like..

  • @starswontfade What are you talking about. Meg wrote this song after reading a book called Indiana, by George Sand. The song isn't about where they live or are from it's about Indiana, a very sickly woman whose marrried to a very old man and has an affair with the boyfriend/fiance of her stepdaughter which starts an adventure that someone as sickly as her has never experienced.

  • @starswontfade -_- i bet you have no clue about meg and dia's songs Indiana is a name dummy :S

  • @starswontfade Ummm.... no one is TWO words....O.o

    P.S. SHUT THE F*** UP!!!!

  • wats the song about?

  • @thedestinyrageteam - The song was written after Meg read the book "Indiana" by George Sand... after learning this, I went out and purchased the book. If you read it, you can instantly see the similarities with the lyrics.

  • I live in Tennessee :)

  • hehehe this is about George Sand

  • I wished I lived in Indiana =C

  • i live in indiana. c:

  • i live in indiana :)

  • I live in indiana :D

  • I LOVE YOU MEG AND DIA! I HOPE TO MEET YOU WHILE IM LIVING DOWN HERE IN FOSTER CARE! That would really make my whole life. I love this band soooo much. It has sooo much meaning to me. Every song they play. Monster is my top favorite(=

  • oh my. hello auto-tune.

  • @DyingSoliloquy lolwut? Guess you didn't hear the music. They aren't autotuned, and don't need autotune. These are real musicians

  • @Mormodes I'm not dissin on them here. they are good, and this is a good song. I haven't listened to the whole album, but on this particular song, there is most definitely auto-tune. auto-tune isn't just an effect for people like T-Pain. It's a tool used by audio engineers to fix, change, or perfect vocals and it's been around since 97. And sometimes it's used not-so-tastefully. So let me clarify my opinion: great song, great group, bad use of auto-tune : )

  • @DyingSoliloquy theres no use of auto-tone. This was from the independent album. Not exactly the studio version.

  • @DyingSoliloquy I don't think you know what you're talking about dude. Do me a favor and look up Setting up Sunday, (the video taken in a radio station booth) listen to their voices and the song and you'll know they aren't auto tuned in that song or this song or any song I've heard by them.

  • haha ok, you guys all win. Meg and Dia would never even dream of using auto-tune in any context. I only said that because I'm jealous of how good they are; not because I thought it was amusing that you could hear it on the vocals. Just forget I even said anything lol.

  • @DyingSoliloquy There is no way this is auto-tuned. Anyone who has seen them live knows that they use no type of tuning out there. they dont care if they sound off or awkward...its part of their image and what they sell. while i agree auto-tuning is used a lot more often than people would like to admit, this group is just quirky to be quirky. =]

  • @DyingSoliloquy Obviously you don't know Meg & Dia. This is a completely acoustic album. No Autotune. How can you even hear it?

  • @FifiRawr98 He's a douche

  • oh my. hello auto-tune.

  • My daughters name is Indianna! Xx :)

  • i live in indiana too yay :)

  • My name is Indiana, so when I heard this I squee'd. Especially since Meg & Dia sound kick ass. :D

  • Follow our youtube channel for the latest meg & dia videos.

  • wonderful voices <3

  • 19 people missed the thumbs up button :o

  • I love Meg & Dia, they're the most amazing band on the face of the earth. I hope they find a record label for their third album (fourth, if you count their self-produced one). I hope they don't break up!

  • " she began to die, indiana thats not right, indiana thats not right..then she began to fight, indiana make it mine, indiana make it mine" haha i love this song!! =D

  • haha...woot i live in Indiana

  • Okay the song is about the book Indiana my mark sand it's a very long but great book very sad the main charater "Indiana" has a wife she starts to die so he goes to the house where he fell in love with her but another woman lives there so he gets to know her after that he starts to fall in love with this woman while his wife is very I'll but there's more to it read the book it is very good. Meg and dia till I die :D

  • @ScikotC

Is the one you read have some freanch in it because its super oldm because I started to read it but I couldn't finish it, how did it end.

  • @ScikotC Lol you have no idea what you're talking about do you? Indiana, first of all, was a girl. She was not a man.. lol So obviously if you actually read the book or knew anything about it whatsoever, you would have picked up on this at SOME point. Nothing like a good old fashion book with pedophilia and incest. >_<

  • @itsuhfugazi what? the novel that that song was based on is about that? yikes.

  • haha... all the kingdom hearts AMVs i love kingdom hearts but.. yah that does bloww hahahaha:)

  • i love indiana jones

  • I live in indiana 2! Is this about indiana!!!??

  • @13LoverMusic I think it's about a person, as opposed to the place.

  • @BloodlessDawn Its about a fictional character

  • me toooo!

  • What is the book "Indiana" about anyway?

  • Tonight was the first time I heard of them. Are their songs all about various books?

  • not all of them, but several are

  • mostly their something real album is based on liturature. here here and here not as much from what i've heard. their first cd i believe was mostly their own acoustic songs

  • i actually saw them live it was awesome

  • download link?

  • i jsut finished this book. haha the song has a whole different meaning for me now :)

this one and rebecca, and monster too.

well i guess courage, robert too since i found out that its about robert schumann

(learned about his life history in class yesterday). :)

  • @pwtsfan

Is the name of the book the same as the song ?

I've been trying to look for it after I read your post , bit haven't been able to find it.

  • @adorableroxy91

yeah. the book is titled Indiana by author george sand.

its an out of print book so you could either check your library or try barnes and nble. they have a section where you can buy used books pretty cheap (on thier website)

hope you enjoy the book :)

  • <3 They are amazing! I REALLY wanted to see them live D:< but this is good enough(:

  • I love how they sound when they say "like you" really high <3 it sounds cute :B lol

  • love it!!

  • "i can do whatever i want like you like you like you" Such an awesome song, ily guys :)

  • most songs that are popular don't have meaning, as the person below said. take the time to listen to their other songs, and yes, they do have meaning.

  • somehow i dont think this song is about the state. jus sayingg

  • yeah, its based on the book "Indianna'' by George Sand. :D

  • @Karliq32 omg you live in someone!!! hahahaa

  • @TheArial08 i do to lol

  • @skatahkickflip hahahahahaha!!!! ^.^

  • @Karliq32 same here lol wat part?

  • @Karliq32 me too :)

  • @Karliq32 so do i!!!!!

  • @Karliq32 ME TEW!

  • auhmazinggg cant wait till october 21<3(:

  • dont compare them to the veronicas!

i like the veronicas but meg and dia go way deeper than the veronicas

there lyrics have meaning, unlike hook me up or take me on the floor

plus the veronicas beats are techno... ish

  • Tottaly Agree :D

  • Yup. I agree as well. It's like the Veronica's aren't 'feeling' the song. It's like their almost like "artificial."

  • It's like they have no substance to them. O.K well ima shut up now b4 i start an agrument. Both band are great... although i like Meg & Dia much much much much much much more.

  • the verionicas aren't just about clubs. You only know there popular songs. They have lots of meanings. You obviously are too stupid to noticed.

  • ive heard there other songs (when it falls apart etc.) the ones i showed are examples of club songs i didnt say EVERY damn veronica song is techno but my opinion is Every meg and dia song have a deep personal meaning. and how am i the stupid one ur the one who replied to my opinion dont take everything so damn personal

  • lol. Your the one cussing over this. I don't care. I'm just stating my opinion. Plus, alot of Veronica songs are deep.

  • @MissVanillaBaby I agree with you that the veronicas and meg and dia are not the same at all. Meg and dia do go way deeper.

But the veronicas do have better stuff than what they come out with now. they weren't always "take me on the floor." and what not. I hate their new stuff.

  • i got to meet them =) they're sooooo nice and down to earth =)

  • AND I LOVE THEM BOTH!! YEAH!!!

  • except Meg and Dia are much better :D

haha just kidding I don't want to start an online argument. both the Veronicas and Meg and Dia are great.

  • I think meg and dia are far better, i do like the veronicas though.

  • I löööve this :D

  • it sounds like their sayin "n- dianna"

    lolz

    kewl song btw!!

  • ok which one is dia and which one is meg?

the one with the shorter hair or the one with more prominant features? idkk

  • the one singing is dia and the one with chubby cheeks that plays the guitar is meg

  • that comment made my day. xD

  • haha, dia is the lead singer and meg is the one on guitar.

so i guess dia is the one with short hair, although i think its longer now. it was when i saw her in concert a few months ago lol

  • Amazing!

i saw them in concert too. Nick almost wore my hat!! they're amazing!

  • Dia is the lead singer. Meg is the guitarist.

  • Well Meg used to have the longer hair, but as of lately her hair is shorter, and Dia has grown hers out.

Meg is the guitar player, and backup vocalist.

    Dia is the lead singer.

  • the main singer is dia, && the sister with the guitar is meg

  • wow youre a gaiafag? even boxxy left that.

  • LUV LUV LUV IT

  • gah this songs amazing.

  • Im sorry but thats not right.

The song was written based on a book called Indiana.

It has nothing to do with them. :)

  • It sounds more like In-Di-Ana to me...

  • It was based on a book called "Indiana"

  • Very underrated band.

  • meg and dia <3

    warped tour 09 :)

  • totally met Dia today. oh god, i'm in looove hahah

  • Love this song! <3
