@conor293 -.- did u come up with that statistic all by yourself? or do u just sit infront of the television n choose what u want to hear? africa as a continet is bigger then england the country or great britain combined so really, nice comparison...
@phoney98 holy shit, africa bigger than england? fuck me i wouldnt have known that. I was actually refering to the rewandan genocide which happened in one country, it might have happened in 1994 but that many people being murdered in 100 days is obviously still a worry. Why dont you give me some shocking statistics about england then, and obviously I didn't come up with that statistic you fucking moron, I don't just make up shit to annoy people on youtube. Shows how smart you are.
@conor293 RWANDA! 1994 really? does that mean i get 2 bring up england's extensive colonial history, its role in the 'scramble for africa?' (btw have u read 'things fall apart'), slavery, jack the ripper murders, THE NEWS OF THE WORLD newspaper!! id giv u stats all the way from 1881 to 1982's Falklands War n beyond but i cant be fucked -.- jus keep stereotyping places uv neva been to or actually know about, caus god knows, ignorance makes the world go round :^)
@phoney98 you are so unbelievably full of shit, I bring up a tragedy that happened 17 years ago and you bring up jack the ripper and the news of the world. the news of the world? your comparing phone hacking to genocide? And then I go onto your channel and it says your from Australia. Have you ever even been to England? or Africa for that matter. And please answer the fucking question i asked you in the first place because you still havent told me who was meant to be insulted by his comment.
@conor293 -.- africans are meant 2b insulted, because ppl always assume its a corrupt, lawless continent. im sorry i didnt put my full ancestry on youtube...im nigerian australian, but was born in canada. i last visited nigeria 4 years ago and Ghana 8 years ago. no iv never been to england, but enjoy watching doctor who n torchwood. no i cant b bothered researching tragedies commited by england within the last 17 years -.- im on holidays, n ususlly watch videos about cats on youtube.
@conor293 hey..jus did sum research on YOU! irish eh? but northern ireland so that explains your british sympathies..wow, if any countries been more fucked over by england id say it was the irish..but forgive n forget eh? (i feel i should say something about potatoes but that would b mean wouldnt it?) btw..MASSIVE dylan moran fan ;^)
@phoney98 well I guess that settles it. You've never been to England, or Africa and you're too stupid to answer a question. I was never sympathising with England, I'm pretty sure I was sympathising with Africa. Do they not have potatoes in Australia? I had no idea they were only found in Ireland. I suppose you're too busy putting another shrimp on the barbie. I just found out that the editor of the news of the world killed another 10000 people today. The crime rate in England is shocking
@conor293 sent a reply answering ur question but im not 2 great with youtube, so i guess u neva recieved it. africans are meant 2b offended, because africa is consistently portrayed as a lawless, corrupt continent wher as usual the 'western world' hav got it right. sorry 4 not putting my full ancestry on youtube. im nigerian australian, was born in canada and last visited nigeria about 4.3 years ago and Ghana 2 years before that. never been 2 england but enjoy dr who and torchwood immensly :^)
Long way round was great but they couldn’t do it because of the rivers and I found his attitude to the bear killing very arrogant. As he said “even if I was poor” I think not. People will do anything to feed their children. As Charlie said it could mean a set of tyres that would bring work, that intern would feed the family. Personally Long Way Down didn't work for me. It just seemed rushed.
@ohfuckity Yeah I thought that, I thought Charley was wrong too as he said killing animals is fine if you eat them, killing wild animals for food unnecessarily is entirely decadent, but Ewan was a bit too black and white about it. Yes it's absolutely wrong to kill a bear, I wouldn't kill any living creature, but I'm not in that situation, you can't judge people in that absolutist way. I'm sure if offered, they'd take enough to feed their family without killing bears, given the choice.
dang. looks like they became quality friends after those documentaries. must say, slightly jealous of the friendship they seem to have cultivated. Interested in seeing those documentaries.
I just finished watching Long Way Round and Long Way Down, and I must say that they are the luckiest people in the world. They took a trip of a lifetime, saw things that 99% of the population will never see...Inspiration at it's finest!! I will never complain about anything that seems to hard again after watching what other people in the world have to and want to live with. Now they need to do Long Way Up - from South America to Canada...and then across Australia! Cheers to them.
@subbtopp Wow, you get down voted for that? No one said they are "faggots lol", it's just that they have an extraordinary friendship which makes them look like a married gay couple.
mr breeze a manchester despatch rider did 1.265819 miles over 5318 working days as a despatch rider at an average of 302 miles every day now thats riding mr boorman i still do moor miles in any given day than anyone else in the country there was a article in a bike mag in 2005 about a guy who reckoned he had done 2.5 million but the logistics dids,nt add up especially as he was a 50 plus biker rider i started mine in 1979 in 7 thousand i havedone 1.5 million recorded daily
@kirstielogan rad. gratz. I didn't know he did that, but not too surprised. most mainstream actors (especially british ones) do something shakespeare eventually (*cough* tennant *cough* hamlet) ;)
Charley was actually in Deliverance. He was also in another of his father's films and if you want to see what Charley looked like as a blond teenager, search YouTube for The Emerald Forest.

There was something odd about Ewan's eyes in this interview. I think for his look as Iago in "Othello" he might have been tweezing his eyebrows.
I'm glad he stopped, looks too fey, and not in a good way.
