I just love this video & song, I remember as a young Pre-teen seeing this video on Video Music Box (Channel 31) in NYC. I went out and brought the 12" inch single brings back so many memories of the style of videos where artists just danced in their videos without having to resort to showing skin and shaking ass all over the screen .

WOW!!! This videos embodies junior high and high school for me. They did all the dances that was done then. And each girl had a different style of clothing that was worn by girls of the time. The guys looked exactly the way we all looking in high school with the sateen paisley shirts and vests.With stone wash jeans. Dose anybody remember the GET USED jeans? i believe you are correct... it prob'ly is, can't really tell, but this is around the time he started popping up in different videos dancing (he's also in Doug E Fresh's "Summertime" and Stacy Lattisaw's "What You Need" from '89). Plus, he was interning at Uptown and they were on Uptown, so it's likely.
