the league is young, give it time. There'll be more Candace Parkers to come and even better players than her. more women are starting to dunk and by then the whole league will do the same. the skill set will excell. yes it's not exciting as the NBA in terms of the acrobatic display that men put on (which i adore), but you have to understand that there is still an evolution the league has to face that the NBA already has. they will get a string of players as good as Candace or even better.

Cheryl Ford, Michelle Snow, Lisa Leslie, Candace Parker, Brittany, Hunter, Maya Moore, Charlotte Smith, Sylvia Fowels, Georganne Wells, Ashley Gayles, Glory Johson, Deanna Nolan, and Britney Griner. and as for men not having the ability to dunk. the first emergence of the NBA was the NBL which changed its name to ABA and then NBA. it was established in the 30s.Jim Pollard & George Mikan one of the first and few dunkers entered the league at the END of NBL era late 40s early 50s and then dunking was banned for a moment. the early NBA was not ruled by the big man until the late 50s and 60s ABA (Dr. J, Wilt Chamberlain, etc)and that's when the dunking was becoming a normality.
