  • Very Nice, a form that I have to learn after my next grading. Enjoyed it.

  • i am going for an apprenticeship this week and this is one of the forms i have trouble with :/

  • It's interesting to see how people perform the forms with slight variations. If you went up to H.C. Hwang himself and asked him how to do Chil Sung Sam Ro Hyung though, he probably wouldn't be so open-minded about the variations, heh.

  • uhhh the press when going up is supposed to be shoulder width i think

  • i thought the exacution was crisp.... its jus a little riigid from my feelings...dont forget its chinese roots in your footwork ... but we are martial artists...artitists being the key word and i love this guys interpretation..tang soo!

  • Thank you for posting these forms! They are the best versions I could find on youtube. It helps me to learn in between classes. I disagree with any negative comments here. The Kihaps here are inspiring, and contrast with the half-hearted kihaps you typically hear in many schools. If you're going to do it, then do it for real! Thanks again!

  • There are several different branches of Tang Soo Do. I practice a style called Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do so forms and location of strikes may vary depending on your teacher and what branch of Tang Soo you practice.

As for Kiais/Kiahpas that is your personal preference meant to show your warrior spirit. So there is no set length or force at which one must perform them. Everyone is different, keep an open mind.

  • your kiais are damn annoying... cut it out. you'll give yourself a hernia.

  • i was going to say the same thing, i thought kihaps's/kiai's where surpose to be short anyways, whats up with the bear sounds right hooooooaarrr lol

  • At approximately 1:16 it should be left groin attack yuk soo do first then right not the other way around. Otherwise very nice form.

  • thats weird at 33 seconds he didnt prepare on the correct side

  • im being trained by master chrisopher lee...the student of the grand master xD

  • (out of curiosity) my school teaches that the Yo Siks (double soo do/yuk soo open hands) are about equal height, at groin level. Is that taught differently there or something?

  • Very, very nice!! Master S.
