  • woww the animation is stunning! thanks a million!

  • wow; amazing! that just helped me so much for my physiology exam lol

  • The Inner hair cells have no contact with the tectorial membrane!!!

  • superb

  • That's wierd. Why does Potassium depolarizes the hair cell and not Sodium?

  • @JBilal well it usually is sodium- but since potassium also forms a positively charged ion it can also depolarise the membrane, when there is a K+ influx. it kind of makes it easier since now you're only dealing with potassium ions instead of both sodium and potassium :)

  • Excellent

  • Absolutely amazing. The more we learn, the more I marvel at the awesomely meticulous nature of our design. Thanks, God :)

  • @Nani101 God had NOTHING to do with it

  • @julianzolo No one knows for sure, hon. I think He did, so I said so. Nothing more to it.

  • @Nani101 It was nature, that thing you hate so much, that thing you are commited to destroy, but don`t worry, nature is not a person, Gia and God don`t exist

  • @crazytalkerman I was about to take you seriously and ask you how I gave off the impression of hating nature until I realised your name was "crazytalkerman".

  • @crazytalkerman nice man, trolling on someones beliefs. Good for you. But just quickly, isn't the stem of anti-Christianity partially because people think that Christians can try to force their beliefs?

So with that, shouldn't you be a tad skeptical of yourself because you're trying to force your beliefs of no God or other deity upon those that do have beliefs of creationism?

Oh and if the evolution idea is "so" perfect, why are we killing ourselves and the world? Some higher beings we're.

  • @quentzy Higher beings? Most certainly not. Evolution being perfect? Ha! But it is spectacular for what it has created thus far. So amazing. This video just proves to me all the more how epic life truly is.

  • good gosh this is ridiculously detailed. i thought my histology teacher wanted detail, this covers more than what we did.

  • no dislikes. just the way it should be.

  • wow it amazing .i like it.

  • The Lord had nothing to do with it.

  • Wooow!! who would've thght u have all this in ur ear in order to hear..it's so weird how all that works and its doin it like at nanoseconds when we hear...Isnt the Lord good how he created us...amazing!!

  • @schs19947 shut up, religious nut-job

  • @crazytalkerman U SHUT UP!!...can't i make a comment about God..u betta THANK GOD he gives u the ability to hear..sooo ungrateful

  • @schs19947 Well I'll just be delusional for JESUS...how bout that..THANK U LORD!!!

  • great video!!!!! It is very clear and the 3D animations are amazing!

  • thank you so much! very useful for my physiology lession

  • amazing..thank you!

  • NICE, awesome video, cant thank you enough!

  • Fabulous! Amazing work! Bravo!

The only thing I'm struggling with is how do the different frequencies get spread out along the duct? Is it like a series of bandpass filters? Does the system resonate at certain frequencies at certain places? Or is it that system is highly dissipative at high frequencies and they simply can't make it all the way down (or up) the duct like the low frequencies can?

  • @ZachreyCA High frequency (high pitch) means more cycles per second. There is not enough time to go around, so they pass right through the vestibular membrane.

  • AMAZING.... Sooo helpful!!!! Three hours of reading cleared up in 6 minutes.

  • This is great! I definitely have a much better understanding of how this part of the ear works! Thank You!

  • this is really helpful thanks

  • Lisa's gay

  • This is an amazing animation, however the sound is a bit weird.

    Great Stuff!
