  • Great pictures - why Lili Marlene? Because of the name or is there any other reason - just interested.

Lilith is the Divine Feminine Principle of the Universe. All Goddesses were demonised by patriarchy, especially Lilith, as the Death Goddess. Death is not feared by devotees of the Great Mother as it is in the outdated, male-dominated religions, but welcomed as part of the Cycle of Life.

  • Listening to this music makes me feel like invading France, Poland, Russia, Holland, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.

  • aztecs. native american indian ancient egyptians.....

  • Very interesting.

  • @arcangelquerubin Lilith and Ishtar are the same as far as they represent the same goddess in different cultures. However they have different mythologies so they are slightly different like saying the great spirit of the Sioux is slightly different than the great spirit of the Cherokee. Both are North American Indian cultures, just like both cultures for Lilith and Ishtar are from the fertile crescent and basically babylonian.

  • @arcangelquerubin I believe Ishtar is a younger version of the goddess Lilith and she represent. The process of ethnography throughout the fertile crescent saw a change in the name and mythology of the root goddess but at her core she is basically one goddess.

  • Lilith is actually a more ancient goddess than Innanna and Ishtar. Enlil and Ninlil the chief babylonian gods both derive their names from her. I venture this arises from them being her children. In the epic of gilgamesh she is found living in the world tree and has to be chased out so that Ishtar can use it to build her palace. I believe this is symbolic of Lilith being an older order of goddess than Ishtar although they basically represent the same goddess. lady Babalon is all 3.

  • in the most of pictures , specially in the beginning ,is a picture of Sumerian Inanna, and in Babylon and Assyria, was known as Ishtar.ISHTAR Goddess of Love, Fertility, Nature, Sex and War. Queen of Heaven The most important Goddess of the Near-East and ...

  • she's always raising her hands, i think she's either surrendering to something, or she has two questions to ask
