I'm kind of with you a little bit. I like change, but his stuff was not as gritty and rough back then...it was...lighter? I don't particularly care for this sound either. I'm pregnant right now and this stuff doesn't vibe with us at all (way too discordant)...but songs like Nova, Chocolate Lovely, and Natureland are still lovely. I miss his jazzier works.

Probably so, dubstep seems to be the word today, everyone is doing dubstep. Personally never really got into it nor getting into still but I guess it's just so cool everyone has to try it out, including amon tobin. Thing is that it's very quickly starting to sound very general, I didn't find much difference in this track than some other steps I've encountered around. Guess it's in the slight nuances then, which I fail to detect unfortunately. Maybe big beats WITH big basses next time. no wait...
