I think you're right. Well, aside from that little slip-up, that fight was his toughest. Ezzard Charles was tough as nails and could punch like a mule kick.

Charles split Rocky's nose pretty badly. His nose never looked right afterward. However, Rocky landed several head shots that just were devastating....you could see Charles's lights dim after the blows.

Agreed! Ezzard Charles was a great boxer. Incomprehensibly one of most underrated in hystory. In his matches (above all against Marciano) everybody can see how strong, talented, courageous (and, to me, also in shape!) he was. Thanks for this footage. Bye.
