In my opinion Romeo is better than Petrucci. Romeo's my favourite guitarist along with Victor Smolski. Both are very underrated. BTW Romeo's signature Caparison Dellinger kicks ass

I've been looking through the vids of Dragon Farce and Symphony X...what a difference between the two. SX are simply awesome live, and the command they have over the crowd is something to behold. I just wish I was one of them!

I have to agree. They are both amazing (my two favourite guitarists in the world), and whilst Romeo would completely out-tap JP, as SevenSins said, some things that JP does are just absurd. His alternate picking is second to none, and some of his sweeping is out of this world (see Stream of Consciousness)
