@MrAgge21 It is I just chose a to saturate the clips and color correct them in a strange way that slightly degraded the quality. I also rendered it out in a codec that degraded the quality a ton. I have developed a much better method to render out videos to ensure the quality doesn't have massive degradation like this one. Mainly thanks to Bjorn and Frags guides on THF. In short the quality of the video isn't the capture cards issue. It was my issue and it will be fixed for future montages.

@SteveGaming Nope it was a matrox mx02 mini. You couldn't even get close to that resolution with a dazzle. The actual render/mov is much higher quality youtube just degrades the quality of some video codecs.

i have a question to all people who actually know about video-making and montage-creating.

Whats with capture cards if people can just buy Bungie pro and record a clip then render it into a file to edit later. I really have no idea if it works that way as i do not have Bungie pro but I'm thinking about starting to make halo videos (not montages, just guides, and little tip videos). And if video-recording doesn't work that way, how do capture cards work, what price range am Ilookingatforthatstuff

@633sk8er633 depends on whut quality you want. also depends if you computer can handle that kinda stuff. capture cards are used to get the video from your xbox to your computer and then you need a edit program to edit stuff. cheapest is probably a dazzle and if you want it in hd the cheapest is probably roxio. i think an hdpvr isnt worth the buy unless you use it alot. dazzles ranges from 30+ roxio is about 110 and hdpvr is about 250+

@633sk8er633 Well, with bungies service, you need to pay to capture a certain amount of minutes. It can get really pricey. Buying a capture card ( A HD PVR or Dazzle) Is the best way to go. And you can get video editing software on the internet, you just have to "LOOK" around. ^-^

secret to getting exterms...1. be a player skilled at the game,2.have perfect aim both when shooting and when using certain items 5 seconds before the player is in your line of firing sight,3.be lucky to spot a cross section of enemies running with at least 95% of their shields down,and finally 4.be lucky not to be shot at AND lucky enough to spot enemies running in an cross-section like path so to say,sadly I'm never lucky with any of these things,though I'm not necessarily a noob either.
