I didn't say you liked modern pop. You should probably re-read comments before assuming one has said something. Now you asked me to define good taste; and I'll agree that that is near impossible. BUT! Defining a bad taste in music is far easier. (and I think most of us can agree; modern pop is shit.) If you personally think it's bad; than I'm not going to bash you for it.
@PessimisticParrot Are you talking about modern pop in general or just that which you hear on the radio? In my opinion there is still a pretty good deal of great pop music being made today from bands like the new pornographers, of montreal or the magnetic fields. Even bands like animal collective are still largely "pop" bands at their core.
