Too high, too deep, too fast, touch down too hard. I know this sounds rude so far, but please hear me out. Here are some tips: if you are doing loc/dme app, follow the chart to descend properly so you won't be worried about your speed. For touching down, I know the weather is shit like, just keep practicing, you will do better and better by time.
P.S. If you DO want to fly like how a real pilot does, remember this: using spoiler during final approach is strictly prohibitted according to SOP.

How do you make a loc dme app ? do you turn to the localizer at a certain dme from a vor ?
