Great engine, shop around and you can find one at a good price now with this recession. I have come across a couple now at asking 10k and they would look at offers. Both were the 620HP but still a good deal. I'm sure they will get even cheaper in the next few months too. I'm bolting one into my 67 Cutlass, you can't go wrong with one!!

no it kinda is bad, but it's in pretty conservative tune..the street legal version put out like 650hp, but remember, that not only does it have probably just as much torque, but there was one guy who twin turbocharged it and got 2000hp. And his car is street legal.

How much gas mileage does it get? That depends on what vehicle it is in what tranny is behind it and how much you stand on it. If you drive it on the street in a 3000- 5000 vehicle with an auto or stick probably way less then 10mpg. On the track probably about 3 gallons to pull up, stage, run, and get back to the pits. I'm pretty sure this thing will suck a gallon of Sunoco in a 1/4 mile. So 4 gallons to the mile. hahahaha

better idea, how about YOU BLOW me. if you can afford the 620 hp 572 ci that gets practically nothing for gas mileage, i'm pretty sure you can afford the extra 1,200 bucks for the 720 hp version of the 572 over the 620 hp version. and as for a tranny, it's about 3000 bucks just to buy the 4L85-E 19154550 which is rated to handle the 720 hp ZZ572, so yeah, YOU shut the fuck up and get a clue.
