I am a citizen of the United States, and I sincerely apologize for these ignorant philistines who stain our reputation. They are ruining our chances of having a balanced debate on healthcare.

It annoys as someone who is proud of our health system and an ex-history student how people who blatantly do not understand how the NHS works try and slag it off using no factual information at all.

British doctors are murderers and compulsive liars .once the truth is revealed people like ipswich90 will be at the end of a rope with the rest of the british medical profession .I dont mean to be excessive but the truth will reveal genocide carried out by doctors to save money ,its a fact not fiction. doctors and managers are committing high treason.

Doctors and nurses working for the NHS have saved so many lives I fail to see how they are committing a genocide to save money- I'm afraid it sounds to me like a bit of a conspiracy theory. Also, according to UK law high treason is when someone commits a crime against the King or Queen. I am sure people would know if NHS staff were committing that crime.
I'm from Kansas, that book is so incredibly hard for me to read :( It's sad how much the right wing in the US has turned this country into something like the third world in many respects. Their strength lies in misinformation and shutting out any opinion different from their own.

He represents a conservative group of uncultivated provincial sheep who advocate for policies that work in opposition to their own well being. It's stunningly ironic how a critical mass of American citizens can be convince to behave in this manner. Go figure.
