Hi there..this is Emilys Mom. The purpose of the public spreaking assignment she was given by her teacher was NOT to do any reasearch. It was to take her opinions and thoughts and that exactly what she did... My child won the competition on her speaking abilities....not necessarily on the info that was in the speech itself. She won doing it ALL ON HER ON OWN.... the feelings she felt of accomplishmnet after she won..were all hers!

if my six year old (she looks older 8-9)had to do a talk at school, i would spend some time with them making sure they had correct info.not picking on a 6 year old just giving a bit advice to her and not a crosby hater , a pens fan!!!

I accept your appology...and yes, I agree she did very well...and really enjoyed it...she is 10 yrs old and won in her school for the grade 4. Emily isn;t shy and loves a crowd...I wonder where lifes gonna take her.
