these guys rly listen to each other live thats why its so tight, and since they can do this they can record without a click track so live and on record sound similar and thats what you aim to do as an artist replicate the studio album in live performance

yeah this is their new drummer, the only record he's done with them is the march. I like this performance of giles, but the tempo feels a little all over the place.

Their old (and awesome) drummer quit. He's now with Red Chord full time. He was juggling between that and Unearth... this guy's an average drummer... can't keep up with the old stuff. Did you know they recorded In The Eyes Of Fire without a metronome to make it sound more organic? As a drummer myself, that is just totally insane.

The new drummer is not as quick and on time as Justian. And at many parts he plays way to slow for the music, he also misses many snare and cymbal patterns through out the song, especially in the beginning.

@vetegrodd As with any metal DVD, they go back in the studio and overdub the guitars and stuff. Watch the Killswitch dvd sometime, you hear Adam D's riffs being played while Joel is playing his, but in the video hes not playing. I dont mind the overdubbing, but in these dvd's what you hear isnt always what they heard at the show.
