De hecho yo lo usé un tiempo con un MT-2 , osea el metal zone y antes en la cadena con un compresor CS-3 boss también y lograba un sonido bién crunch, quizá no asesino en bajos pero siendo que no toco hace poco tiempo , la distorción que se logra no es mala, ni molesta al oído, de hecho podrías llevar el pedal y probar el Ampli en una tienda. en mi opinión el marshall este con un MT-2 suena bien decente, conectado a la entrada principal y con el canal de distorción del ampli...
yes, i have never used this amp alone, always with my zoom 505 and now with boss pedalboard, very good sound, in fact today someone is going to buy it becouse he says he was very impressed with the amp and a pedalboard , for recording, once i record directly from the amp line out to my computer, it was fine, never tried a mic recording, .. just amplitube or guitar rig to record.
mm personaly I have never tested a rack but, it shoud work, this amp have a very very low noise on the distortion chanel and the clean chanel, so it shoud work fine also on the line in, directly to the power amp.

Sabes que la distorcion de este amplificador, tienes que bostearla ya sea con compresor o booster y suena para mi gusto bien ..

una pregunta sobre el ampli
se oye muy feo con un pedal
esq una amigo tiene un roland de 30 watts y pude mi pedal( boss metal zone )
y se oia muy feo como q muy agudo
me pregunta es q a ese ampli tambien se puede oir asi con el pedal
