i love this dif solo in this song and the riffs sound more powerful but the original version may be barely better bcuz the balance of instrument and clearity is more pro
Gotta agree with 'Redmaw that this is the Motorhead version of a very good song. That said, I think the album version sounds *too* finished, too polished, and fails to convey the power of some truly outstanding riffs. I nearly broke my neck to this version when I first heard it back in '91.
This version lacks the double-kick bass in the midst of the main-riffing...therefore, this is the "punk-rock" or "Motorhead" version of this song, ha ! Again, the guitars/drums sound great, but I dislike the vocals. In this sense, I prefer the album version which does the song more justice. The finished version sounds more elegant, but still very heavy, especially with the double-kick bass drums
This era of Unleashed really seems to get me. Why couldn't they have this sound on "Where no Life Dwells" and other great albums. Unleashed really has terrific riffs and song arragement, but I've never liked their production that much ( not dirty enough )
