@freerideking06 no the battery's working fine for me. maybe you over charged the battery too much because you might have forgotten about it and fallen asleep, is that right. if you charged the battery too much it will die and might explode. when it is fully charged, unplug the charger asap.

I bought this phone like 4 months ago and have to say i LOVE it!32 gigs get me all my movies on my phone and music,and i need that since i travel a lot and its like carrying a laptop,i love the qwerty keyboard,the space button is okay that its a bit to the right,it adds thickness to the phone but its cool so you could know where it is and not loose feel of it + its more bad ass talking through a crisp phone like that and not some klondike bar,awesome camera and great firefox browser.Get it now.

First, does the N900 have the carrier setup option somewhere in the menu?

I have a 5530 and when I got it, it helped me configure data and MMS settings and I loved that. Can the N900 do that as well?

Also

I'm on a pay and go plan and I'd like to know, does the N900 eat up lots of data when you're not browsing the internet? For example, loading things in the background or installing updates and etc.
