Hand down in technology the M1 Abrams wins. I don't care about it's range, while it's refeuling, it's got the best infantry in the world protecting it.

Im confused.. the barrels on the tanks are nearly at a 45 degree angle and their shells appear to be landing no more than 300 meters away but effective range on 120mm is 4000 meters and that high angle for 120mm should send shells up to 8000 meters?

They probably weren't T-90s, considering that only Russia has that tank model. If anything it was probably some old T-54/55, T-62, or maybe even a T-72. But our troops have never faced a T-90 or even a T-80 in actual combat.
@GregoryHJ2 Actually Russia only has about 200 T90s and India made an order for 310 T90 tanks in 1990s they probably have more now but there has been over 9,000 Abrams made just over 5,000 were shipped to allies or bought by private companies for testing. So even if the t90 is better than Abrams we could over run them. As well the T90 is essentially a T72 they were going to call it the T72BU but instead called it T90 with minor modifications and is currently inferior compared to NATO tanks.

The M1 may get disabled or even "destroyed", but the reality of the situation is that crew safety in an M1 is second to none. Even if the tank goes down the crew are more than likely to survive.
Additionally, the tank was not necessarilly designed for Urban warfare. In the open field manned by competent crew, the M1 is king.
Well I do know this much I was just there at Ft Knox Id remember that Range anywhere. Charlie Co 2-81 Graduated 18th of Dec. 07 we were there at Gunnery the 7th I think. good times. Got to drive down there those battle Positions in the background loaded and drove on there and where those tanks are we got to shoot 3 rounds each at night with the TIS it was fucking awesome sitting on the Ammo point watching the tanks fire from the Battle Positions.
Hey is this the CALFEX? I wonder which 1/16th Cav Troop is stuck on Guard, Cleanup, and ammo loadouts? Possibly I am guessing Charlie troop, when I was there we had to do that all the time
What's your name? I was with a government tour group. This tour was in August '07. That was so much fun, especially driving the A1 and Stryker simulators.
How far away was this shot from? Those rounds don't sound real, they sound like training rounds. Real rounds sound a lot more solid and deeper when fired. Those rounds sound like firecrackers.
They were trainers. But I don't think the video does the sound much justice, it was just from a small digital camera. We were in a command tower about 200 yards away though I would guess.
Ahhhh man another video where the comments section is just a big fight over what tanks is better.
