An originally intended perfect world with created creatures to suit that world would not need to reproduce, except in cases where one could argue pleasure was the main motivator. It seems unlikely that "lower" order animals (e.g., ants, fruit flies, worms, etc.) reproduce for the purposes of gaining sexual pleasure from copulation. So, it would seem that reproduction's primary function is to facilitate genomic change in a population over time.
I really appreciated your argument from 6:23 - 6:41. I found it to be quite thought provoking. Sexual reproduction is the changing of genotype in a population through successive pairings of gametes as well as occasional genetic mutations causing a gradual change in genetic pool of the population of a species. At least, that is what I understand it to be. Creatures would need not to reproduce in a young earth model without death because every creature would be already suited to its environment.

Indeed, the problem as I see it stems specifically from people learning to think in terms of absolute certainty.
I've had very mixed results when I try to explain to people that science only determines the probability that something is true or false and that "absolutes" have no place within it.
After I explain it many continue on with arguments along the lines of:
"A is absolutely true because of B, B is absolutely true because of A, C is not A or B so C is false."

I don't hear "voices", but the Holy Spirit tells me how to live my life, and I love it. It's hard to explain, but it's like telepathy, I know without a doubt what He tells me.
I pray for people every week and they get healed in Jesus name. The Holy Spirit heals them, He is so cool.

When a born again (true) Christian prays for people, some of them fall over because of the power of the anointing (God's power).
I've fallen a few times myself as I have prayed for people, it's just impossible to stand sometimes, when the Holy Spirit knocks the wind out of you. The power is so strong.
Anyway, when they get up, they are normally healed.

I always lay my hands on people when I pray for them, it works better, because then the anointing flows into them from my hands and "zappes" them. God is cool!

Indeed, the problem as I see it stems specifically from people learning to think in terms of absolute certainty.
I've had very mixed results when I try to explain to people that science only determines the probability that something is true or false and that "absolutes" have no place within it.
After I explain it many continue on with arguments along the lines of:
"A is absolutely true because of B, B is absolutely true because of A, C is not A or B so C is false."

The concept that I suggested is much better observed in biology, which is the field we're arguing; for example, take the length of an arm. One millimeter isn't that much. One hundred one millimeter growths is. See? Small changes add up to large changes. Even smaller changes on a molecular level will lead up to a relatively "small" by our standards change, like a millimeter in an arm.

but you have not observed that in biology, there is no "real" evidence connecting animals to bacteria, only small changes we see today, that we predict are long range affects of what happened yesterday, your basically saying if i grow an inch today, in 10 years ill have grow 5 feet, and if that is true, y are some people much taller then others? you cannot based what happened yesterday on events that happened today. and that basically the foundation of evolution.

What stops micro evolution? For a cell type to stop adding information it would have to have an information analyzer on board to know when it was on the road to going to far. "you dont" but there is a limit to how much information it can process and use. example: if i keep cutting my hand my skin will grow back stronger and stronger by making my skin denser and with more layers, does that mean eventually i will be uncut-able? There was a phase of history where bony armor was an evolved advantage, but the disadvantages were soon discovered and exploited by other creatures(the chordates) who were fast and nimble. Evolution ONLY produces that which is adequate to procreate. That is all. Not perfect. It never could.

I find Creationism very easy to refute. I was basically able to refute a few theories CHEMIST CREATIONIST. It was next to easy. They love to spout their theories then we debunk them like that.

About "why would God give us the ability to reproduce" and "no death before the sin of man"
I just thought that a helpfull snippet of infomation would help. Hmmm maybe like the fact that eve was not recorded to have born a child until AFTER sin entered the world. Not that it changes a whole lot, but it kinda demands for you to rethink your arguement about that doesnt it? Meh just a small comment I wanted to add since you didnt really make much of a discussion, just a review of VFX's vid.

I can't even begin to dredge up the impetus to argue with creationists anymore.
These people are so subhumanly stupid that I might as well occupy my time lecturing a wall on evolution. I'm sure concrete would be more penetrable than whatever the skulls of these contemptibly ignorant morons are made of.
Though I suppose if everyone gave up like me, we'd have a legion of well educated walls but no progress in ridding the country of these vermin. So kudos to you for carrying on.

The problem is that most of them use the exact same arguments over and over again that have been debunked countless times. It's like their strategy is to send wave after wave of creationists until we reach our preset patience limit and just shut off.
