Aaah, coincidence - I'm building a 3string bass and have a pair of pickups for it that I won't use on it BUT of course realised they are the perfect spacing for 4 string cbg.
I tried a spray paint on #002 and had to do it 4 times before I was vaguely happy with it. Hopefully better next time. How did you do the cutaway, if you don't mind me asking.
Made a nice system today that gives humbucker and piezo on 2 outs (humbucker passive) or on 1 out (humbucker preamped to match piezo), jack sensing.
Yeah that was a good day seeing my gats, on TV. There's so much stuff on yours - the cutaway, the homemade Bigsby, the finish...just love it all. Is that a custom pickup?
@glennygtube It's a split bass pickup out of a demo'd bass guitar, works out perfect! The finish is plain old spray paint, the binding is plain old Liquid Paper. It was a fun build, lots of thinking involved...

@customcopy The cutaway is solid, and yes, the wiggle stick is homemade. It works pretty darn good too, though I don't want to brag. Yet.
