Meucci showed the courtroom his inventions which lacked evidence that it could produce people voices it just made bells and whistling sounds. Bell won the case. Bell is still known as the first to transmit articulate speech by undulatory currents of electricity. Also many scholars believe Meucci had no influence on Bells invention of the telephone because there both 2 different things. Bells invention worked.
