Think I like the styling of this better than the Aventador. Too technical and aerodynamic to compete with the 458. How many of these actually see LeMans or go over 100MPH. 4 times a year they are driven. Just to sell and compete is the new lighter engine and rigid chasis. Like to see the Stig lap in the Aventador

The murcielago has already been around for quite some time. Honestly, the look do age a bit but I wouldn't hesitate even 1second if I were give the keys to one. I prefer the coupe though as the roadster has too much limitations. Imagine you want to drive really fast but you have to take the roof off! Doesn't make sense at all. Only the replacement for the murcielago could ever trump it's bling factor, period!

Im anxious to see how the Murcielago replacement will be (it will be presented on the 2010 Paris Motorshow, The Pagani C9 is also going to be presented there...)

@MrAlex12de The Murciélago's successor will probably not be released at the paris motorshow. The car that will be revealed there is most likely just a conceptcar, like they did with the Estoque two years ago. They already started a teaser picture campaign and it shows very extreme lines. Too extreme for a production model really.

Oh and technically this is not from Top Gear, but from Jeremy Clarkson's DVD Supercar Showdown :)

@MrAlex12de they did show the "Sesto Elemento" ( as Carbon is Element #6 and its made a lot outta Carbon) a few days ago and it was meant to give a good taste of the upcoming "new Murcielago"...it looks like some maniac had made the Reventon even a bit more aggressive! Just how we all love Lamborghinis!

Google it, it´s astonishing, especially its weight!!!

@muulka Murcielago is actually named for a bull of the same name who fought so bravely in the ring the matador spared him and started the Miura (from which the grandaddy lambo is named) bull breed.

Even that I still prefer the coupe. I am a sucker for coupes, I love the extra touch of elegance that the hard top gives. Now if there was a hardtop convertible Reventon, that would be different.
