@Firesttar Kimahri was a total piece of shit no matter what sphere grid you took him through, and I took him through them all. Tidus Yuna and Wakka were the most powerful when you leveled all the way. Plot wise, Yuna and Auron were the only reasons I continued playing this game, all the other characters pretty much sucked, especially Tidus and the blue wookie wanna be. I don't see why this game gets so much praise when it had the worst main character of any FF.

@domflane Kimahri makes a great temporary Rikku with decent attack until she comes in a steals the show with her "Trio of 9999," immediate access to better white magic spells than Yuna (great for the wedding period), and Al Bhed potions... Vaan is much weaker main as he has virtually no relevance to the plot. Penelo had more involvement in getting kidnapped! Not that I don't like them, they are just tag-alongs with the others. 10 is praised because it's fun and has a moving story.
