Is there a tour in the mix for summer/fall 08 in US? If so, we have a dandy newly renovated theater from back in the '30s with great acoustics--Hopkinsville, Ky Alahambra Theater would love to have the Greatest Rock And Roll Band in the World drop in for a close up and personal show! I have been a fan since the early 60's when you first arrived in the US. I have seen about 20 stadium shows----I simply can't get enough!

I got a band for you Albert. Besides all the conflicting personalities within the group, I think The Beatles are way more successful than Rolling Stones, dead and extinct as they may be. They have always been able to beat any of the Stones works with their previous albums. And diffrent works like The Bealtes (White Album) show their works are far more down to earth and ground breaking than anything Rolling Stones produced. Nobody can deny that The Beatles are the most accomplished band ever.

They were pop only through the Beatlemania years. However, their later and most famous years were 'acid rock' which counts as rock and roll. Included in this group is Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, etc. and out of this genre, The Beatles were the most successful. Regardless whether or not they broke up (and im sure they would have toured again if it hadnt been for the death of Epstein and Lennon), they chose to break up then constantly replacing members like RS which I believe is more admirable.

I have a question! I've seen you twice and I just recently saw Shine a Light in theaters (it was fucking brilliant, by the way. Bands today have NOTHING on the show you guys give). I was wondering why your set lists don't vary that much. You have such a huge catalog of music, and so many songs that are worth being played!

I understand that changing the set list up requires a lot more practice, but there are some songs that would just be AMAZING to see live! Like Gimme Shelter, Can't you hear me knocking, or Wild Horses (especially Wild Horses. It's the song that changed my entire perspective on music...thank you for that!). Or even songs like Melody or Let it Loose. As much as I love Sympathy for the Devil and Brown Sugar, I'd love to see you do some different stuff!
