Listen... look. It's so far beyond the usual crap out there, even in the obscure fingerstyle world... he is using a modified paintbrush (he came up with it) to make the percussive sounds and composed this variation of a familiar tune... if you listen to his other stuff, it's obvious this tune is to help make himself more accessible which he really shouldn't have to do, but it's still great. I found his website, www.johndanley.com, he has so much material it's staggering.
i wish mainstream music would allow this kind of stuff to flourish and grow. where's the jazz, the creativity, the talent? cookie cutter can be skilled, but this dude gave it some flavor.
