  • HOW CAN MAKE 3 MONITOR ON 1 COMPUTER?

  • haha i use to have those speakers, i had them for a long time and they were really nice, i now have logitech z5500 which blow the old ones away

  • Hi Dave, Am in the planning stage and was wanting to find out if you are still using the Phidgeys cards or the opencockpits USB output card for the LEDs. Also are they easy to program.

  • @con875 _ I use the phidgets led 64 cards, the phidgets 8/8/8 card for the TQ, and Leo bodnar cards for ALL switches. They along with Prosim 737 which is a free software program are all you need...NOTHUNG more. Dave

  • @davemckee1 Why not use the common screen which lots of people use in their car for the kids to watch movies while the parents drive the car?? most of the screens r ofcourse perfect for your project because they are all from 4inchs to 10inchs. U can find real good ones with a good quality TFT display .-) these Screens r to be found in a car styling or car decor parts shope :-) Hope It helps :-)

  • @davemckee1 Hello, what card do you use for MCP panel?

    Thanks

  • How/or where could i get one of these

  • Looks good so far. What about the in-car DVD monitors, they are small.

  • Old video, but thanks for the comment. Check out the latest video on my site, we've come a LONG way. Dave

  • hi :)

sir can you tell me the software you use for the MIP?

I having the problem in software, My mip struture is almost complete. :D

  • how do you separate the instruments into the monitor? =) hope to know it

  • Check out fsxpand website. It shows everything. Dave

  • I u don't want that yoke I'll gladlly take it!!!

  • wooow i like it =) i gonna start 2 make my home ckpit

  • WOW!

  • i also am trying to find out on your vidoes if i should buy their front panel too , i'm affraid i will have to go and buy small like 10 or 12" screens. otherwise the stanby instruments wont fit , will they ?

  • enter screen is turned sideways so modules will fit easily.

  • thnx for the Qiuck respons :)

  • i am thinking of building the modules myself , like the mcp , efis and cdu. Thnx to you i got known with poldragonet and they sell interesting kits, without electronics. I would get the electronics from open cockpits then , but what i wanted to ask is why you bought a goflight mcp , and not build one yourself? since it will be much cheaper. or did you maybe allready own it before you start building the whole cockpit ?

  • I already had the MCP before

  • What are the measurements of the screens that you use for your instruments and how have you laid the PFDs etc... on the screens out?

  • There are 2 19inch monitors for Capt and First Officer side, the center mnitor was recently changed to a 15 inch(16x9 ratio) tuned sideways. Check out the newer video, and we are going to post another in thr next few days

  • cool! how do you did to make that? or did you buy it?

  • A combination of both. I will be posting an update soon. Sim looks alot different bow. Thanks Dave

  • can't you just buy the lcd screen rather than a whole monitor ?. I had to replace the lcd in my laptop and they had a wide selection of sizes available, laptop screens are still available in 10 inch and you can buy raw screens that would be as small as your attitude indicator and altimeter etc.

  • There has been alot of modification from this video. I didn't want to use a laptop, but now I am going to use real aircraft guages (imitations) that work instead of just video images. I will be posting another video in the next few weeks. Thanks for looking. Dave

  • Hi Dave. Thanks for posting! You are doing a fine job. I like your mip!

  • Wow! I wish I knew how to wire up the switches and buttons. Great job.

  • With the Phidgeys acrd, and the Leo Bodner card it's real easy to do. The soldering, sheilding the wires, and the gluing makes it a little hard You need lots of patience (which I don't have anymore) Thanks for the cmment Dave

  • So far so good :)
