@rook901 The officer moved it from the inside lane to the outside lane around a curve and to where the largest shoulder is so that when the tow truck does arrive the tow truck driver is safer and does not disrupt traffic as much. The officer made a good decision and whos life was endanger and when? The police car's emergency lights were engaged and the other drivers were well out of danger. It may still be blocking a lane but it is safer for when the tow arrives and because of the curve.

Last week I got off work and some kid was run off the road on his motorcycle; the driver took off. Everyone else just drove by while he was fucked up. I stopped and helped the guy out... stop being so selfish and take time to make the world better.
some drivers behave like animals. I was hit by a drunk driver as I was arresting an other drunk driver, I was hurt pretty bad and airlifted to a hospital...all I remember when I was on the ground was other drivers just looking and trying to go around me making sure they didn't run over one of my limbs...but no one stopped to help...only the guy I was arresting grabbed my mic and called in.
Sometimes help comes from the strangest places when you need it. One my partner got into a scuffle with a guy he was trying to arrest for OWI one time, and the guy's big huge brother with a rap sheet 10 pages long who hates cops came over and helped my partner arrest his brother!
Yes I was very fortunate...there was somebody watching over me. In spite of broken pelvis, a broken leg, six ribs, my right wrist and my right ankle...it only took me 9 months of painful recovery to go back to what I love the most..serve and protect. Good health to you my friend

When there are emergency lights on, keep a safe distance of atleast 100 feet inbetween, as frequent backing may take place, as is the case in this video.

CHP does not get their funding from TICKETS it doesnt matter if they write 3 or 30 its the same. CHP gets a portion of VEHICLE REGISTRATION for funding the rest goes to state.

The British Police are much better trained and equipped at dealing with crime. American police practice police interception and brutality like they do in many third world countries, the only difference is they have a few more gadgets than third world police. When I say Stunt I did not mean, hey your notin hollywood. When I said Stunt, I meant he actually went and used his cruiser to shove this heavy ass unit out the way. In Europe, cops aren't allowed to stop freeways like CHP Can here. They would run into a hell of allot of problems. I wish a CHP would have moved a turned over dumpster on the 5 south in SD that had tons of construction crap covering 3 lanes, and forcing me to fly all the way to the left and avoid the wall.

Much more scrutinized, like if you scratch the perp who just robbed a bank and killed a mother and baby, they let him go because you caused him damage. Like in England, it's really really political, and they don't carry guns. I was hit by a drunk driver as I was arresting an other drunk driver, I was hurt pretty bad and airlifted to a hospital...all I remember when I was on the ground was other drivers just looking and trying to go around me making sure they didn't run over one of my limbs...but no one stopped to help...only the guy I was arresting grabbed my mic and called in.

Yes I was very fortunate...there was somebody watching over me. In spite of broken pelvis, a broken leg, six ribs, my right wrist and my right ankle...it only took me 9 months of painful recovery to go back to what I love the most..serve and protect. Good health to you my friend
