Some fans I note are asking how do we know what gollum looked like. If you read the books you will know that Tolkien was incredibly descriptive. How Gollum looked, how he spoke, and all his mannerisms, personality, were clearly defined by the author.

It was all laid out for the actor and animators. However, I think for the most part they did a great job bringing it all to life.

he had wear a suit for months and jump around as well as change his voice

or shouldve been counted as one of the recepients of the visual effects awards
