every time i hear this song when i watch the movie, it makes me want to cry, i know this is the story but gosh i wished Carrie could have had a happier ending, gosh it's just so unfair how everything panned out for her:..(

Beautiful=) This song almost makes me cry. I love this film and Carrie herself. I wish she could have had a happy ending in the film. I really lived with her and identified with her during the film and I felt really heartbroken because of what people did to her and what happened to her in the end. Of course this is a horror film and I love horror films. But I wished happiness for Carrie

Beatiful song, from one of the saddest films ever made. Carrie may have been a crazy murderer, but all she needed was love. I feel so bad for her everytime i watch it. This song fits the story so well. Love it

This song is not about a mass murdering telekinetic girl, if you listen to the lyrics its about feeling anxious and affraid because she is loved, it was playing in the movie when Carrie and Tommy were dancing together (before all the mass murdering). Everyone at my wedding loved the song and had no idea that it was from a horror film.
