actually, they probably used autotune just to perfect his pitches. That's common practice in recording, as that's what it was used for before someone decided to exaggerate it for that robotic effect... which he does use on some of the other tracks... :(

you're probably hearin the reverb from the speakers on the camera being in the recording booth. These rooms are treated but there's no telling how it will turnout coming from camera speakers. Also it's easier to get into your work (if it's music) while bobbing or moving to the groove. Helps to create the best possible musical image you're tryin to achieve because you are in the moment.....that's why not everyone can do this for a living...no matter how long they watch.....
