thought provoking indeed..please do check out a simple bicycle network implemented in trivandrum and kochi..it involves bicycles locked with number locks....the opening codes are smsed to registered members....racks are easy to implement as it does not need much setup infrastructure...a software is developed for 24x7 response.....number locks are changed occasionally to prevent re-usage...a dropbox in each rack collects payments
